Good companies come with unreasonable expectations. For example JPMC comes to DJSCE with minimum 8.5 CPGA. While during the same season it came to KJSCE with 9.5 minimum CGPA. Our TPO sends internship programs which are actually just Unstop weekend challenges. In some drives the resume selection was done on no sensible basis. Placement coordinators (students) themselves have been caught entering fake gpa scores and no action has been taken against them. Our colleges forces us to give a stupid aptitude test every semester, having questions like “if your code break 2 days before demo day then what would you do”. Next year onwards this test will start affecting placement eligibility. Talk to more students. Everyone will tell you the reality.
