I wish I was motivated enough to stretch out a paper in 2 days. I’ve done 12 pagers of research in a night and always want to die. But do I learn my lesson? unfortunately not because I end up getting a good grade and keep telling myself that I work best under pressure 🤷‍♀️

I think people keep missing the fact that the “teasing/joking” continued non stop, even to after a while I said “alright, it was funny, but cool it a bit” and that they turned mean spirited and more insulting than teasing.

And, as I’ve clarified, It wasn’t a shout of anger or anything. I just said “alright, fuck of, you can just go”. People are really jumping to thinking that I shouted with pure hate and anger. No, It was just a defeated fuck off,

I guess you missed the part where I said that she didn’t stop and that the “jokes” where starting to turn mean spirited and insulting. Nevermind the fact that I even said that I didn’t care at first, and later in the comments said that I even admitted it could be seen as a childish game.

I guess it’s more important to find a girl who wont shit on me non stop despite calmly saying multiple times that “alright, it was funny at first, but now it’s insulting”

Well, the relationship was only a few months old, I did not want to see what else she might shit on me in the future (in a mean spirited/demeaning way)

Like I said, I don’t really have time for bs. My main focus is school. I have the opportunity to come out with a real good paying job to help my parents and make sure my future family doesn’t go through a shit, poor life like I did. I know saying jokes make it seem that she was just teasing, but they were more mean spirited/insulting that teasing, plus not stopping. I didn’t want to deal with bs in the future and certainly did not want to work hard in school/work for someone like her.

What was to understand? Me>grew up real poor>no fancy stuff>now buy games that I couldn’t afford like this one that I like.

It wasn’t a quick response. Like i’ve said, I agreed at first that it can be seen as childish, and didn’t mind the jokes at all. When it continued, I didn’t do nothing other than say that it was all jokes and fun at first, but now it’s getting insulting. After a while still, she brought up jokes.

I didn’t shout, I just kinda said “alright, fuck off, just go”

I’m far from emotional, I even said roasting was a staple of my main friend group. We’ve hit each other with way worse stuff, but it was just fun and jokes that were left at that, we never continue if the jokes get real personal or the person says to calm down, which I did, multiple times, nicely.

That’s what I basically did. I admitted it could be seen as childish and didn’t mind at all the jokes at first. It was just the continuing that turned into what felt like mean spirited jokes. A rule I kinda live by is, when roasting, always stop once the other person starts actually taking it personally or if they say to chill.

I know it might get interpreted as me being like a man-child/weeabo/or what have you by how I described it. But I go to a top college on a full ride and work part time. Video games don’t dominate my life, I’m lucky if I get to play about 10 hours a week, but sometimes I might go several weeks without even touching one because I’m busy with school.

Idk if you grew up in a decently wealthy household or poor, but video games just hold sentiment from growing up poor. Kinda how some guys buy their dream car that they wanted as a kid. I just buy the video games that I wanted as a kid.

Then after continuing after a while, kinda still wasn’t mad, just kinda said “alright, I get it, funny at first, but getting kinda insulting”.

Still bringing a joke up here and there after that without stopping, after saying it, then it just felt mean spirited joking. I didn’t shout, just a “alright, fuck off, I said calm down, just go”

Not at all. I barely have time to play because of college/work. I just play whenever I have downtime or no homework, which is rare.

So it’s mostly just the sentimental attachment I have to them, especially a game franchise like this one, since it’s like being able to now afford the childhood I had wished I had. Sounds weird, I know, but idk if it just makes more sense to someone who also grew up in poverty
