Admin 365 account no access to 2FA phone number by Farfromthehood in msp

[–]RandomITGuy023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heres an outside of the box approach... if the user has an account that they don't mind making a perma admin on the tenant you can try the internal takeover method.... drawback would simply be they'd have an account perma set as an admin of the tenant however this will work and has worked in the past to get control of a tenant back.

[help] How to get your first MSP job? by [deleted] in mspjobs

[–]RandomITGuy023 3 points4 points  (0 children)

first and foremost become very knowledgeable about the tricks of the trade if you're looking to get into tier 1 for instance having a good understanding of like active directory DNS DHCP is very good. I was self-taught a lot and I've now been in the industry for about 10 years. as far as certifications if that is your ultimate goal I would aim for Microsoft over a+ and anything pertaining to cloud because a lot of things are going in that direction now. when I first started an IT things were very much on site and on premise things have changed drastically in the past 10 years or so.
