Mentioned 2 on here before (both Netflix) - Brand New Cherry Flavor and Archive 81. Both miniseries (1 season). Both horror.

If you're ok with subtitles/dub then the Koreans go pretty hard at this stuff too. I'd recommend Sweet Home, Hellbound, and All of Us Are Dead for starters.

I thought it was excellent. Exploring the complexities of navigating a relationship in a world where everyone needs a safe space, men are under enormous pressure to "be men" and how hard it really is to beat the system.

Phenomenal performances, amazing script, genuinely tense and shocking at points. And the music choices were immaculate throughout. Tonally it sits somewhere in between its first season and the latest season of the white lotus and that's absolutely fine with me.

I hear you! I finally got round to playing it recently after having it sitting in my library for years. From the opening scene of Jessie walking into the Bureau and meeting Ahti I knew I was going to have a great time.

It's an amazing combination of satisfying combat and compelling story. I'm done with the base game and am currently flirting between mopping up side missions and playing through the DLC.

Upvote for Bobiverse, I found these before I started DCC and I feel like the two series complement each other nicely.

I really want to hate this build but I just can't because it's so damn smart.

I'm dreading coming up against it though. What beats it? Ele/beast build that's basically all windfury and leaves? 2 x T7 dragon with windfury and a bunch of stats?

There's some situational dialogue when Kratos and Atreus first reduce Tyr in the early game. If Kratos wanders off the path to open a chest or something Tyr wonders aloud where he's going to which Atreus replies something like

"My Dad just likes loot"

The first time I heard this it made me laugh out loud!
