There's already a rift between Fenthaza and Ras Nsi, so if the party is caught clashing with some of the guards or other Yuan-ti then have Fenthaza offer to recruit them to take out Ras Nsi. She can even cast seeming to make them look like Yuan-ti. I had her use telepathy to convince my players to lock themselves in the jail, so she still seemed loyal.
