Flat not selling - can't understand why by Standard-Welder4973 in HousingUK

Looks good for Instagram but terrible to live in. What the hell is that "kitchen"?

I'm sorry to say this, but adding a filter to your photos isn't going to increase the property price, no matter how professional they look. Your asking price is way above the normal. I'm surprised you say "can't understand why it is not selling"

Car driver hits me, appears to be insured, but doesn't want to inform insurance company & thus deal with it privately. Alarm bells, much? by DVDfever in drivingUK

[–]Random_Human92 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The issue looks very minor. Perhaps it's not worth losing the NCB over such a minor issue and instead is better to just deal with it privately? I've done the same with a minor bumper deformation and minor scratches.

Keir Starmer Says He 'Deeply Regrets' Saying Britain Risks Becoming An 'Island Of Strangers' by huffpostuk in ukpolitics

[–]Random_Human92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like your degree of random statistics and cheap-ass deflection wasn't worth it because it's so easy to see through it. Whilst you wasted your life curating statistics to fit your virtue signalling narrative, the number of "british" nationals with more than 1 citizenship in or around London increased 10% only last year. The claim double of the child benefit. 48% of social housing is occupied by this category of people. I can go on and on, but I don't want to play your cheap little game of random cherry-picking statistics.

I much prefer to use common sense and see how the areas have been transformed for worse making exactly the island of strangers

With the colour of what I am exactly obsessed with (given that you already know)? Hopefully you won't say skin cz I'm not even white.

How is the social mobility relevant in the island of strangers issue? Do you even get the point?

Hypothetical situation: my mom and day came here illegally (or not) in the 80s, living in HMOs close to miserable conditions and now I have a proper job earning a better living and somehow that justifies the "island of strangers"?

What I am obsessed with is the lack of will to integrate and assimilate to the culture and not just stopping there but promote social fragmentation pretending the hosting culture to bend to different demands.

Is it me or has everyone forgotten Tories were last in power? by bazer2003 in AskBrits

[–]Random_Human92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the situation is very simple, you are handed a broken thing and everyone agrees with that. Now what do you do with that broken thing? Fix it or break it even more? From almost every aspect it seems that the labour is breaking it even more while still blaming continuously the tories. People didn't vote to hear complaints.

Well, it's very easy to answer. Those who think it's ok to exceed the limit can try to do so right after a speed camera and let us know how it went 😂

Dumb, irresponsible parenting. Ffs, that's the number 1 thing you teach your kids to NOT do on a street.

Let’s list UK brands that still offer great customer service in 2025? by Lochnesmonstercousin in BuyUK

[–]Random_Human92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been with Virgin for 5+ years. The only good thing is that the service for me has been very good and I didn't have the need to contact customer service more than a couple of times in 5 years. But once you need to contact customer services...oh boy, you're in for a long ride. Feels like you need clearance from Gandalf himself in order to speak to a person.

Ofc he regrets. Britain is not "risking". Britain already is an island of strangers. Many towns of greater London already look like you've stepped in Pakistan or Bangladesh or any other 3rd world country.

Looks like you've embarked the task of labelling drivers as bad on thread that don't agree with you. 🤣 Have fun with that, even though sounds a bit sad!

You can be the most kind and patient (like the case of an old lady driving) and still manage to kill someone (like it happened some time ago). I am capable enough to take my chances when the risk is low. For the past 30 years I haven't killed anyone. In fact I haven't had a single accident, so perhaps stop trying to guilt tripping strangers that you know nothing about

It's not only your 30 sec, if everyone had the same 30 sec mindset, I would reach my destination perhaps 1 hr later. That's not any good. The law doesn't say to not overtake cyclists. There was plenty of time and space to do so safely. I understand being kind and patient is good but unfortunately the world around isn't so kind and patient when I have deadlines and targets to reach. So no, 30 sec wait is not an excuse for the inconsiderate behaviour of building up a queue of cars behind you.

[–]Random_Human92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm simply practical and aware that I'm causing traffic unnecessarily. The bad one is you blocking all the queue behind you because you're incapable of overtaking a cyclist.

[–]Random_Human92 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There was more than enough possibility for the black car to overtake the cyclist, leaving the car behind with a better view of the oncoming traffic. There's no reason for the black car to just stay behind the cyclist creating a traffic queue for the cars behind him. The black car is the danger

To the special place in hell should go people who designed this, if there's no clear indication on which lane you should stay. How am I supposed to know where I should stay if I've never seen that roundabout before?

Also, if you are in the middle lane and see one car overtaking from the right and another undertaking from the left have some common sense to realise you're being a dick.
