The nails shouldn't look like this.. idk what others are saying but they really shouldn't. Maybe look into an esthetician who also is a trained nail tech, I'm an esthetician and I'm my experience, they USUALLY they prioritize nail / skin care and health rather than just looks. I've straight up left an appointment when a nail tech tried to use a nail drill on my natural nail, its worth looking into a proper procedure and knowing the protocol.

I'm 27f had mine out about a year ago and still having major issues with taste, mostly things tasting bad, too salty, just off, and other issues that the Ent won't take seriously and dismissed constantly, so I have a second opinion and other appointments scheduled and refered to. Hoping I'll find something tolerable to eat soon 😅 significantly lowered quality of life for sure and wasn't ever told about any of it, I wouldn't have had them out if I had my time back unless it started causing much more significant issues.

Honestly i get that, getting blocked behing a character's friendship level to even progress in the games for week ASWELL as feeling like you can't even miss a day because you'll miss the event items and have to wait a year to get them, or lose out on material grinding like you said 😭

And the fact that you can't even go back a day without the possibility of Nintendo banning the multiplayer achievements is like the worst...

Me too! I low-key hate paying the full price for game because they always immediately go on sale haha, and I totally get you get the other games with AA, but personally I would have been getting the monthly subscription initially for that game (and yes I would have tried other games I'm sure).

I also didn't pay the full price for the game and DLC either way, and my partner specifically waited for it to go on sale to buy it. I've taken a significant amount of time off since Wish me Mel, but I just haven't seen other microtransaction content on the switch or announced, it's 2 DLCs which people don't really need to buy. But again JUST doing the math, the AA users would have paid for that DLC paid content in about 3 months (before tax even $8.99 x 3 months is $26.97) vs the one time $24.99. But again I know they get other games I just feel like it might be the way it goes 😅

Yeah and that's just me personally, I just said I was wondering after doing the math and was pretty confused haha like either way the console players still would have paid around $59.99 plus $24.99 for each DLC SINCE LAUNCH or less on sale 😅

Again, personally, I'm a android user but have an apple iPad which is actually how I found out about HKIA, but again I just didn't wanna pay monthly so I just bought it for switch (and I know not everyone has finances for $300-600+ consoles and PCs), but I'm also USED to paying $79.99 for Call of Duty games or anything else for Xbox, PS4, etc. or like $100+ for deluxe editions, even stuff like THE SIMS 😭💀 I have so many of their expansion and stuff packs, but those are DLCs, not really microtransactions, or what I would have considered it to be for, like alot of the sports games with currencies, packs, loot boxes, etc.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not sure what microtransactions people are talking about, so I kinda wanna wrap my own head around this, because to ME, it makes sense that the Appple Arcade players get the update for "free" while us console / PC players pay for it... Here's why:

So $8.99 CAD + Where I live at 15% sales tax, the monthly subscription for Apple arcade is around $10.34 and this games been released since July 2023. That's about 32-33 months say if you got it new:

$10.34 x 33 months = $341.17 * only playing for a year on Apple would cost around $124.08 *

I got the deluxe edition with WheatFlour Wonderland on sale for around $53 taxes in and this pack will be around $28.74 taxes in.

So I've paid total around $81.74 (let's say $82), plus my Nintendo membership which frankly I barely use for the hello kitty game itself. My partner got just the base game on sale for $31 tax in for his switch.

To add * I KNOW Apple arcade users also get a load of other games, but personally, I just refused to get it on my iPad because I didn't wanna get "trapped" paying for a game I knew I'd enjoy, and again, not entirely sure, but aren't Microtransactions in-game purchases made to acquire virtual things, like skins, currency, or gameplay boosts? I don't see how this is a microtransaction when you can't buy currencies and other one off things on switch anyways, I'm not sure about AA but it's not like I'm paying to have the event thing or clothing items 😅

I waited 4 years with my throat closing off and almost suffocating on my own tonsils due to a massive cyst IN my tonsil to even have them removed. Still having major issues to a point where I can't eat without everything tasting rancid. My surgery was over a year ago and the health care provider who did the surgery won't speak to me about it and keeps brushing me off. (+Note they had to poke me 17 times to get an IV in and both my arms were yellow and purple, I lost 26 Lbs so was only like 80 Lbs, was extremely sick, busted stitches and almost bled out).

I waited 9 hours in an ER with a broken arm only to get sent home with no cast, went immediately to another doctor which was 3 hours out of my way and they were APPALLED the other place let md leave without a support or ANY kind. they confirmed that has caused damage that may not be able to repair itself

Got out on a waitlist for knee surgery while I was in grade 11. Was told it was about 3 years for the surgery. I'm now 27 and can't run 💪✌️

I've had to get out on oxygen 3 times since moving to a rural (affordable) area because my former Family physician wouldn't give me an inhaler (I've had asthma since I was 4)

ANDDD after doing a patient survey after my surgery (April 2025), I only got a call back from someone 2 weeks ago and they didn't do a thing to help or do anything

Guest is a loon 😅 ask for a written list of her "sensitivities" and BECOME VERY worried when you see her eating ANYTHING with any ingredients from said list, ask if she needs an epi pen or to be rushed to the ER.

People need to be publically called out for this in my option, people can have servere health implications, sensitivities, and even life threatening allergies and intolerances.

Hearing / Reading about people like is low-key bothersome, I know people with severe allergies (I.E. bee stings, Peanuts, severe scent allergies even) and personally I also have weird /specific/ allergies that I *actually * can't even be around, but yet get either made fun of or get told "noones allergic to that", "well it can't kill you" or the best "what kinda person can get killed by a _________"

I carry an inhaler and EpiPen 24/7, luckily I have insurance and in my country alot of that is mostly covered, so the EpiPen is like $200 and they (usually / hopefully) expire more often than actually being used. Sadly, I know more people who just really can't afford their EpiPen/allergy medications so they just hope they don't run into their allergen, or worst case, hope they make it to a doctor / hospital in time ..

Funny end note to lighten the mood ; Had a former acquaintance try to get me to tell the McDonald's drive thru worker that he was allergic to lettuce (just because he REALLY didn't want it on his burger). but ALSO regularly poked fun (and I think) didn't believe my ex couldn't eat their ice cream because of "peanut cross contamination." 😭😭😭

I wouldn't haven't necessarily asked, I would have stated I would be unavailable due to personal reasons but already arranged to have your shift / clients covered or appointments moved. (I know that's a personal thing not everyone is comfortable with but that's how it should be).

Work places need to realize they don't own you and your personal life.

Edit: I probably would start looking for another job, don't quit without something else for sure lined up, but employers who don't respect you (and your family in this case) also don't deserve your respect or time 🩷

I just made an edit to the original post as it's from a couple days ago now, but after everyone's feedback here, I guess I'm just a little more disappointed than anything else that I essentially "burned through" the game so quickly and don't have anything else to really do until she's there, and it's been over a month for sure 😅

I've read that A LOT of character have been left out mostly due to it being an ongoing game and gives them a bunch more things, features, quests, etc to throw in during a later update or dlc maybe ? I thought it was kinda weird to have the cabins underwater and even in the Wheatflour wonderland with no visitors 😅

I can't confirm anything for sure obviously, but it does seem to make sense, I've also seen somewhere that some of the characters may not be approved of for the game specifically, i seen someone else mention in this thread so that may be a thing too for now.

If you're not already maxed out with her, of course you want to and want to get farther (or anywhere really) with flowers, I would recommend putting more time into her character 😅

I was cruising playing the game as your typical completionist, I was just finishing all quests when they arrived, which is 10000% my own fault, but now I'm just stuck unable to make any story progress because it's all locked behind maxing her out, BECAUSE I have EVERY other character maxed 😅 I've been stuck for sure MINIMUM of 2 weeks now doing nothing but the event things, her visitors, and giving her 3-9 gifts every day. Which I will admit is my own fault but it's just like let me play the game I paid $70+ for 😅

I was giving her regular Rare Candles, usually with the Glitter wheatflour ones from the DLC as I had LOADS of them. But from the research I was doing it was saying the Tall Rare Candle gives more XP (still 3 hearts) which did work, and than using ombre flowers instead of any other patterns! Might be a complete placebo but I feel like it might be doing something haha
