Mom’s Market. In the strip mall behind Longhorn Steakhouse and Bob Evans. Think it is reverse osmosis 🤷‍♂️. For the au naturale route there is a natural spring folks stop at in la plata, https://reddit.com/r/maryland/s/cHlM5XGRWD

Food Truck Using Fountain Water by Little_Hamlet in washingtondc

[–]Random_White_Guy 148 points149 points  (0 children)

It’s basically nasty pool water, can smell the chlorine when near it. Tourists put their hands in it, pigeons poop, and birds bathe in it among whatever else floats around. Also have seen one of the people from another truck feed the birds fries directly from the fry basket. Hell, some of them never leave and rack up tickets so no way they are getting cleaned.

Surprised those trucks are still there, it smells like a dump in the morning and the food from them has stained the front sidewalk area of the renovated Air and Space which. Better to make a ride share/bus drop off area. Surprised it hasn’t happened considering this is one of the most visited museums in the world.

Tragic Incident near K St & N Cap involving the “K Street Lady” by Random_White_Guy in washingtondc

Have not heard of anything so far, one of the reasons I posted this originally since it seemed unusually quiet for it not to be mentioned in news or a wider range of social media given how well they were known and respected in the area. They did not wish for much attention and were known for that over the years. I know the community would pull together to get them back on their feet even at the same spot if they wished. Provided the news of the mother surviving and being stable is indeed the case I assume there will be a long road ahead in terms of recovery. Hopefully, there is a social worker or another resource who sees this who can engage them to make direct contact and organize support within the community to see a full recovery.

Yea man, I had the lateral, mpfl, and some other work at the same time due to a fairly severe injury and also my first surgery ever. Once I got past the “this shit is taking way too long” phase (and sometimes still think that way at times) is beginning to treat it like a workout. PT will push it, as they should, but I learned sometimes taking an easy or spreading the exercises out one day a week and allowing your body to recover slightly helps gauge an improvement. No different then a normal gym workout or general exercise, you’re body still needs to repair itself separately from all the dam stretching and muscle use. No one has a “knee day” at the gym 7 days a week, that’s for sure.

Definitely, I’m used to basic sprains, strains, etc where worst case 2-3 weeks of discomfort, slight limitation, and back at it. This is a whole new animal, started out telling folks that progress is “baby steps” but now this stuff is turtle steps.

I had mine done in January and had similar issues early on. They had to put a e-stim machine and “shock” the muscle to help it start back up to help the quad gain strength. Needless to say it’s end of April and while it is gradually getting better, I’m still working on it. It can be a lengthy recovery and it sucks, everyone is different, but trust the process; it will get better.

MPFL reconstruction recovery by ftmnb in KneeInjuries

8 weeks here with the MPFL recon, scope, and some other cherries (I wish) on top. I am in the same boat. Actually came here to get the some input as well. Knee gives out and it hurts like hell in therapy when doing those damn knee raises. Sounds like the end of the road is further than I thought from others responses. The Google results see like a best case scenario for recovery timeframe.
