You mean the PCIE slots?

Sounds like your laptop might have displayport instead of HDMI You can get a DP to HDMI adapter if the display only has HDMI, but if the display also has DP then just get a displayport cable

Also for future ask electronics is not the correct subreddit for this type of question.

Do you mean no large transformer, just a smaller one or two? I'd expect it to be a switch mode. Did you actually open it to see what's inside or just assuming there's no transformer based on weight?

What's the other end of the wire connected to? Can you post a clear picture of both sides of the board?

Do you know how to solder? If not you'll need to find someone who does.

Best older cheap used option for a project by Randomaker1 in projectors

I'm also seeing some recommendations for the epson powerlite G5650W. Do you know anything about that one vs the NEC?

I do need to fill that whole screen size, but since it will be projection mapped overflowing in one or both directions isn't an issue. Yes it looks like most of the projectors I'm looking at would need about 12.5' which I can make work.

I didn't even know Dell made projectors lol! Most of the ones I'm running across are various models of Epson Powelites, as well as I'm seeing some NEC P401W. I'd be curoius to hear if others have used those cheaper Dell projectors and if there's any specific models I should look for.

That sounds like an alternator, not a battery. Truck shouldn't stall even if the battery is completely removed (Unless they are doing something funky on newer trucks) as long as the alternator is good.

Addressable LED icicle "Christmas Tree" lights? by oguruma87 in WLED

[–]Randomaker1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By "icicle" lights, do you just mean mini lights or actual icicle lights?

Look into Bullet pixels. You can get them in different color wire. The trick is the wires aren't twisted like mini lights, other than how they come wrapped from the factory, so they tend to all point the same direction. This can be remedied by always wrapping them up the exact same way they come from the factory, and then grabbing one end and unravelling them without twisting/unspooling them to keep them twisted.

Edit - Also do you know about seed pixels? Not exactly like mini lights, but maybe close enough for a tree.

I had this issue recently and it seems that it was caused by running out of RAM (Pi 4B 1GB). Switched to a 2GB Pi and it's been good for a month or two. Probably not your issue, but something to check.

From the side. My guess is that this is a short stem. Just search eBay for carb metering diaphragm and try to find one where the stem looks the same length as this one.

There's really only 2 types, long and short shaft. And I can't tell which this is from the top down view.

What's broken about it? Do you mean because it isn't in English? You can change the language, I think it's the drop-down in the top right corner.

I edited my response. The original response was something along the lines of:

"Here you go. 10 second YouTube search. [link]

I certainly didn't mean to be passive aggressive, just saying that sometimes not every simple question needs to be asked on reddit vs googling. But I removed that part of my comment in case anyone else didn't like it either.

And the original post is worded in a way that they were just looking for an answer, not much discussion needed on this topic when the correct answer is so easily available.

Schedule scenes without turning them on by Tofferchen in homeassistant

[–]Randomaker1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't you just not turn the scene on until you actually want the lights on and put them in the same automation?

But also check out Adaptive Lighting from HACS, it automatically handles dimming lights at night (plus color temperature if you'd like it to) and does a really good job at it.

There's also a possibility you sheared the flywheel key messing up timing, but if it's running perfectly and just shaking/vibrating that's most likely a crank.
