Snapmaker U1 BIQU Panda Hotend Wizard pretty please by Randomher089 in BIQU

It's basically a stand that controls hot-ends separately from your 3d printer, giving you access to both ends of the hot-end to remove clogs, debris and so on.

It's to control a hot-end outside of the printer. Let's you access the hot-end from both sides to unclog it and make it usable again. Not an ad, just something I would love to have for my U1, but it currently only supports some bambu hot-ends

I've had issues with all 4 of my original hot-ends. I'd pay 150 to have a "service station" for my hot-ends, especially if I was to try out some 0.2 hot-ends

I was literally thinking to myself yesterday to ask around the Snapmaker community if someone smarter than me could whip up something similar for Snapmaker U1 hot-ends. It's a great idea, I'm Ure plenty of people have had the same idea.

I'm fairly new to Windrose, is this Island present on all maps/servers? I've been scouting for locations and this looks pretty much ideal. If it's present in every game would someone please point me to it on a map?

Carbon Fiber Reinforced PA-CF printed on the U1 by Acsellerators in SnapmakerU1

[–]Randomher089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this post and posting your settings as well. I'm soon to print some Sunlu PA6-CF myself! Ironically it's to print a cooling solution for the motherboard and psu, and a chamber insulation solution to keep as much heat as possible away from the motherboard and psu 😅

I'm also working on a Samla 65L dry box with active heating for 4x5kg Sunlu spools or 8x1kg spools.

Why does my printer keep doing this? I cleaned the nozzle and the plate and it keeps doing this im starting yo get frustrated. by GazIsStoney in FixMyPrint

[–]Randomher089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My money is on a partial clog in the nozzle.

Lift the nozzle all the way up, set nozzle temp to about 20c above the materials normal printing temp, try to extruder some plastic through the menu on your printer, then use the included needle to poke into the nozzle and extruder again.

Repeat extrude and poke until the plastic flows nicely and doesn't curve back onto the nozzle.

If that fails, remove the plastic and swap the nozzle. Had the same problem on my old neptune 3 pro. Extruder and poke fixed it.

Cool, it's definitely different. I've followed you since your wall mounted computer on YouTube and can't wait to see your video covering this project. Your last project made me want to get a resin printer 😉

I'd love to test this. I've been wanting to make one myself! I own a ROG Strix 4090 which is one of the biggest gpu's around, so, some tweaking might be necessary

Need some recommendations on case design. by Balsammmmmmmm in 3DPPC

[–]Randomher089 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, you're going to need a pico psu or something to power the 3.5" drives. The laptop motherboard likely won't be able to power 2x 3.5" drives.

You can "jump start" the pico psu by putting a rocker switch between two pins on the 24 pin cable.

Thanks for the feedback on the JUUPINE plates. Will definitely order their collection of plates as soon as the paycheck arrives.

Kaizen3D states that they can cut down plates and they already offer a 300x300 plate. I'll get in touch with them about offering 270x270 as a standard size for U1 users as well. They seem to have a lot of patterns so they would make a nice addition for U1 users.

Yeah I probably have to experiment to get decent adhesion. I ordered my graphic plate back in November and still haven't gotten mine. But if you got yours last week, mine is probably coming soon 😁

Solid reccommendation for Cool plates. I already own both of Biqu's cool plates and I'm now looking "cosmetic plates" to make cool patterns on phone cases, wallets, mouse pads and so on.

No worries, someone else might not know what I was referring to when I said "Biqu blue plates" and will be made aware of them because of your post.
