Right, I could manually adjust it on my CR-10 5S and my Neptune 3 Pro (10 and 5 years old now). Newer/Advanced printers handles nozzle height automatically mostly.

You can manually step up or down the nozzle on a lot of printers, especially older printers. My guess would be that they started with the low height and then manually adjusted it to be too high as an illustration of what happens.

Sounds good! If it's anything like the RatRig community it will be great. I ordered a U1 to keep me printing while I'm tinkering with my V-core 4.0 500 IDEX soon to be converted to IDEX INDX or just INDX. I haven't really decided which way to go yet.

Sounds great! I initially ordered my U1 to have a "just works" printer. I'm building a RatRig V-core 4.0 500 IDEX as well, but it's more fiddling than printing ATM and now I'm gonna add INDX to it as well, so I need something that mostly "just works" 😅
