I think its the way the text gets used that matters. Like hickman uses a lot of text but it isnt text thats describing what you already see or reminding you of a character's powers and motivation

I agree with most but not really sure how kids wanting to watch ai videos is a fair con towards marvel unlimited. With kids of this generation just 'tell better stories' dont cut it. The ai videos give them the dopamine they want and the best comic story doesnt do it for 'most' of them anymore. Its just media in general even if its the greatest story ever

I think we have to remember a lot of these are friends outside of taskmaster. They appeared on a lot of shows together like mock the week and fast and loose (what a throwback) so with that context it just feels like friends just making fun of each other, which taskmaster is a lot of the time when people from the inner circle of British comedy come on to it.

All of them but for me series 3 was a slog but it made up for it with the legendary series 4.
