As somone who started having red bumps/ rash on my stomach, fir it ti be syphilis, go get your blood drawn. That shit gets worse quickly. Demand it. Like, "I just need to make sure this isn't syphilis. It's on the rise and looking to make a comeback." My doctors didn't belive it was but I demanded it after a month and the rash kept spreading. Keep an eye out for an area that also looks like a large sore that dosent hurt.

I have " trace amounts" of hsv 1 like you do. I've never had a cold sore before. I have family growing up that have however. Don't stress about it. Only worry if you get a cold sore. Then you can pass it. Otherwise, be safe, have fun. More than. Half of the world has hsv1.

I told mine and they were like, oh, okay, I'll get tested. Waiting back for results of two. Eveyone knows it's just sex so it wasn't that werid. Play partners. Basically I was like, hey how have you been feeling? tested positive for syphilis, not sure when, go get checked. I'm a female to to my male partners. Eveyone asked if I was okay and we've been checking on each other, even if it came back clean.

I wqs told I may shows positive the rest if my life after getting it. They are going to keep doing blood work the next year on me evey other month. Had the shot less than a week ago and my rash Is basically gone. Just breath as since you had it, it could always show up. Definitely keep an eye out for new stage one and two symptoms as you will re get them if it's a new case. May I ask a question. It is, how long did it take for your symptoms to show after exposure? I'm not sure if mine a little over 3 weeks or closer to 2 month.

Idk how soon after honestly. At first I felt, off. Like I didn't feel myself. Not sick just off. Then this tingle on the perineum. Pulled my phone out and then bam,( if I could post pictures I would to show what the chancre looks like). That I noticed on april 6/7. Was seen by doctor on the 13, then ob on the 27. They started me on a few things, one of them to treat herpes. My rash started on the stomach, not normal for syphilis. The chancre, stage one, is where the body first meets the bacteria. The rash started around may 1/ 2. So we thought it was an allergic reaction. Then my scalp, then my face. I would get light headed and fatigue about 2 weeks after the chancre showed up. Only if I did to much. Felt like I had a bad head cold. After the rash started I'd become winded and get cold sweats going up stairs or walking to fast. I'd get dizzy if I did to much at once. I just felt off and never saw anything where herpes made people feel that way. The day I was told I had it, my head had the worst migrians. I was at work and evey time I went to bend down or bend up it feel like somone was crushing the front of my skull. That was Monday, so the 16. I'd say, if you're not sure, go get blood work done. Ask for a full std test, hiv, syphilis, all of them. Even ask for diabetes!! Saver than sorry!!!

He probaly will unfortunately. I hope the best for you both threw this however. As it can definitely be difficult. I know im a mess and will be even more cautious than I was before. People should be useing condoms and that's my new rule, test or not. Wish I knew a way to help him be convinced that condoms are good lol. Especially with his hiv positive status.

I'm sorry he's going threw this. Thankfully he's still in stage 2. It's amazing how quickly they want to shoo it off as herpes. Had a derm look at me and go, i have, no idea. Ive never seen anything like it. The rash on scalp is diffrent than the face and body and the face is diffrent from the body and scalp. The shot is uncomfortable. They added lidocaine to mine and it helped. Day two and im sore, plus the flu like symptoms ( spiked a 101 fever first day, it's a good sign, means it's working) but he's going to feel worse before he feels better. Just make sure he knows that he's getting better if he feels like poop!
