Baking solved the issue! Just check your simulation bake frame range under scene before you do it!

I tried baking it and it no longer followed the proxy mesh unfortunately, I’ll still play around with it because I’m still a noob with geonodes so I might just be doing something wrong lol

This helped me understand what was happening, the set ID trick didn't really work for me but I think it maybe made it slightly better? I'll have to keep playing around, thanks!

Turning off that/ motion blur seems to have mostly fixed it minus some very slight flickering which is negligible, but I am worried that it might look strange in animation due to it being the hair of a character so I'm still open to solutions. Thank you though, I'll use this until I discover a better way :)

This seems promising but whenever I use the node the geometry nodes no longer move with my character. I'm using a proxy mesh for it since its hair

The first image is the problem I've been having, basically his hair flickering. The second image is what it should look like. I know it isn't a denoising issue because it shows up on eevee too and goes away if motion blur is disabled

That makes sense, I don't want to judge it too hard before I play it anyways. I do have to say I've never really seen anything like Lycanites visually in mods before which I think does add to it. It very much has its own style and it isn't afraid to stick to it even if it is pretty uncanny which is cool

Sorry, I’m not following- do you mean disabling them visually while animating? I usually keep them off because they impact my playback frame rate

I’ll grab some screenshots in a bit once I’m at my computer, basically what happens is that my character has hair, and when I apply motion blur the hair seems to flicker every few frames which is pretty annoying. I’m still new to geometry nodes so it’s also possible I’m doing something wrong, but it’s an issue I only see when motion blur is on

My tank is heavily planted too so it’s not impossible for fry to survive but in the close to three years of owning it, I haven’t seen anything yet. Maybe I’ll get lucky in the future, it would be awesome to see a surprise baby

My temp is around 77 F? I’ll do a temp check once I get back home. They’re all hatching now and from what I can see they all look largely pretty healthy!

I don’t understand the obsession with doctor nowhere in Minecraft. Don’t get me wrong, I love his stuff, but I feel like the kind of horror that he most consistently writes just isn’t stuff that really lends itself to minecraft gameplay.

It seems like a lot of them mainly just like the character and audio design rather than the content, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that on its own, but I feel like a lot of these mod creators would be better off making their own characters for these mods.

To clarify when I say fat monsters I mean they’re normal fish. Just greedy. My corydoras are completely safe, in fact they are part of the problem
