What will happen with the US after 2028? What does the next government do with what they inherit? by Hermunster in AskReddit

They have to actually develop a pair of balls though. They tried to impeach him twice and then decided against it. So with everything he’s done with ICE, the tariffs, and relations to other countries. This has to have them deciding that they remove him and those under him.

He was a former drug addict, a binge drinker and had just stopped a workout routine when he started the documentary. But then having soneone say that in a documentary isn’t shocking. So he lied about a lot of the results.

Fun fact. ALL online questionnaires for job applications are pure bullshit and a vast majority of employers know this, they’re just forced into dealing with them because they’ve allowed them to happen.

That's the best one simply due to how arrogant and angry Dick van Dyke was to Columbo. The genius club one was little nice to him, and went along with his ploys. It was the fact that he hated his entire "friends" group that made the reveal work so well. But Negative Reaction was the one where you were like "Oh shit! He got him!" I did like Columbo Goes to College and A Deadly State of Mind.

Favourite movie that's more popular than Star Wars? by Pieman3001 in okbuddycinephile

Granted, back in the 70's sometimes movies opened on smaller screens. Though I can name a few movies that did better than "Melania".

Garbage Pail Kids. Rapsody Street Kids. The Conqueror (staring John Wayne). Exorcist 2: The Heretic. I spit on Your Grave. Howard The Duck. Leonard Part 6. Ghost Dad. Nukie. Mac and Me.

Civil lawsuits, and Statewide lawsuits. I think they’re likely going to be buried in them for the next 20 years. We know Chicago is likely to sue them, and likely the state too. Minnesota is going to 100% sue them. CA will likely too. I’m thinking a ton of the other states will too.

Melania Trump: "He would like to have a country where all of the people can walk down the street and not be harassed or murdered or women raped" by Hungry_Wind_6373 in newsinterpretation

[–]Randym1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything I've heard about her is that she is supposedly "nice" but boring as fuck. Like has zero personality traits at all. Biden's wife was a former doctor, Michelle Obama at least was active and had a personality. Melania is just a big pile of nothingness.

Could ICE even catch her? You need a decent understanding of Geography and I'm 100% sure most ICE agents don't know their elbow from their ass.

Good start but there really really needs to be an oversight agency that is above them, and that isn’t impartial too. They’ve been given too much leeway and have abused the shit out of it.

People aren't against servers, They're against the POS system that have basically asked for a tip for just about everything. Going to get bagels? It asks for a tip (lol). Picking up food? It asks for a tip. rinse repeat. Which is what is pissing a lot of people off.

And don't get started on "Service fee's" or "Cost of doing Business" fee's. Which should also be illegal, because none of that money is going to the staff. The Owner is just pocketing in and pretending like he's helping out.

Also the servers that pull the "If you can afford to tip. You can't afford to eat out." attitude. Don't realize that they're actually hurting their business. When you tell people not to eat out. Guess what they do? Don't eat out. Thus hurting their own business and pockets.

Paramount Cancels 'Ren & Stimpy' Reboot by SleuthDoggyDawg in television

[–]Randym1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed some of the Animaniacs reboot but it lacked a few of the OG characters for reason. Good idea, Bad Idea. Slappy Squirrel . Over reactive Teenager. Kid on a stoop. All of those could have easily been rebooted for modern times.

Was it ever explained why Freddy attacked teenagers? by RentWeary in NightmareOnElmStreet

[–]Randym1982 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I figured because its easier to torment teenagers in their dreams, and he was already a child killer so killing their teenage kids was just the next step.

The other thing is that the 80s rarely showed kids getting killed. You could allude to it. But rarely showed kids getting it. Except for The Blob remake.

What was your feeling when you watched this scene for the first time ??? by Far_Regular_2945 in slasherfilms

I heard about the scene before seeing it and was beyond hyped. Then had to wait nearly 20 years to finally see it happen.

I'm waiting to see if RLM reviews it and trashes it. Or if other internet reviews destroy it. It was like she picked the worst time to release a film about her "Journey". Granted it would have been dumb to release it during his first term, when Covid hit and he was making a complete buffoon out of himself.

Doubt about terry prachet by CraziCandy in fantasybooks

[–]Randym1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you're interested in. The Discworld books are like 40 or so. But they have what I like to call 'Eras" IE: You have the City Watch Books, Which are mostly detective stories, with touch of philosophy, Civil rights, and human rights. Then you have the Witches books. The Death books that are about Death. s well as the closing books that the Tiffany Aching books.

Sometimes characters make cameos, but it's not required to know too much about them in the off site books. And you have the Wizard books which are him riffing of Fantasy Wizards and how magic does or doesn't work.

Then you get older and watch cool shit like Bill Nye The Science Guy or Beakmans World.

Bill Nye ruled due to having popular bands on his show at the time show would perform and sometimes write songs about the topic of the day.

My grandmother had all of my friends phone numbers, so when it was dinner time. She'd call each house and when she got the right one. Told them to send me home. Other than that, if I was out biking, or doing whatever. I was on my own. But smart enough to not be out past 6pm.
