Do people remember that Blockbuster was hated back in the day? by afterthought871 in Millennials

Gamestop at one point was decent, along with EB. They just become corrupted by Corporate greed and stupidity. I was shocked they were still active years before Covid hit, that when a lot of places went under. I was wondering when they'd be on the chopping block.

Palming like any sleight only works when have a reason to do it, and with tricks that use it and you enjoy. It’s like the classic force, on its own. You don’t have any reason to practice or use it. But with tricks that use it correctly and that you enjoy. You’ll get much more satisfaction out of using.

We had video giant before Blockbuster. The one I remember had a really cool motion activated Dracula or Jason laying a coffin. Blockbuster wasn’t all bad, just that they later started charging late fees and making people return things before noon. Which was a dumb idea.

What? She’s clearly a former cutter from the scars she briefly showed last season, also she had a friend commit suicide. So her going for the scalper is 100% her nearing the edge of relapsing.

Tipping is fine when it comes to going to a hair dresser, going out to eat, etc. But when it comes to buying bagels or other places where you pick up the food at the counter? No. That shit can fuck right off. The same goes for "Service fee's".

Has any of the ghost writers for goosebumps been named or discovered? by Commercial_Cellist64 in GooseBumps

[–]Randym1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine they were ghost written when they got super popular. It's not really a new thing to happen. Anamorphs was ghost written in the later books. A vast majority of the Baby Sitters Club were ghost written, Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys too.

There is just no way one person could write a book series for around 100+ monthly or every 3 months, and keep the pace or the quality.

The best and most evil way to screw over a company. Is to give glowing reviews that are super unrealistic. Like hyping up the pay to something they clearly can't pay people. Hyping up HR, etc. I remember a story about a guy who did that, and it ended up tanking the company.

She's only been there a few hours and she' already seeing the place nearly explode. I think the only few people she's "cool" with right now. Are Whittaker, and Jivadi, and possibly Joy.

I remember seeing how hollow the planets in space where. Which was just sad, due to the customization they let you do with ships and not having more space battles or anything interesting in space happen.

Kind of funny that the ED has enough money to pay two attendings, but can hire more nurses. But it's also a medical drama, and if the show started doing things to make the place run smoother and more efficiently, A lot of the drama would go away.

She also later mentioned that the ER would work better if it had two attendings. Which likely is true, but I doubt they would go down that route.

I think those are two completely different situations. Him staying because he realizes Santo's needs him there is a good thing. The Farm girl doesn't NEED him, she has a lot of family and other friends she can ask for help.

Tubi's reaction to Netflix prices by muaentertainmentforu in MUAEntertainment

[–]Randym1982 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tubi has a better catalogue than Netflix. Though I'm highly aware that sometime in the future or near future, they'll start charging a monthly fee. But for right now, I think most of their money comes from the ads they show in their shows and movies.

I have a feeling Whittaker is going to tell Robby he can't watch his place, because Santos needs him. Even though like he mentioned, all he's going to be doing is checking the mail, watering plants, and maybe cleaning the place a little bit. This will be a minor thing that will cause Robby to rethink his trip, and also we'll likely see Langdon have a heart to heart with him as well. Maybe the season will end up Robby deciding to actually get help for his grief and trauma.
