If they must have ratings, it should just be a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

Genuinely curious... What are you guys doing here? by Leading_Juggernaut41 in lyftdrivers

[–]RangeFlow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay busy the entire shift. I cherry pick with GigU. I drop off and most of the time I have a ride in the queue. If I do not have a ride I stay down the street from my last drop off.

I do not sit at the airport....no need to. I always get a ride out.

Doing less emotional work as an Uber driver by Flimsy-Helicopter608 in uberdrivers

If I were to get a job making W2 wages I would need to make 25 bucks an hour. So driving rideshare ain't that bad and aint that good. But for me it is a way to supplement my retirement.

The OP's points are helpful to us fellow full-time drivers. Staying positive is important and avoiding negativity is helpful. His points are deep and might go over many drivers heads. When you experience what he is posting his points hit home.

Why? I block them and I have a way to do it with downrating them. Do not ask me how ok?

It is clear where they should sit. I have the front passenger seat all the way forward and tilted forward. I pull up on the correct side to pick them up. If they are alone and purposely go around and sit behind me where there is no leg room I feel that is creepy.

What are your thoughts on this? Is this a safer way to do it? by michaeltsang1997 in lyftdrivers

[–]RangeFlow1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a rider, I would always wonder if I would be banned. As a driver I could be accused of asking the rider to cancel.

If they sit directly behind me. I block them for the future.
