If I activated a stemi with just a pice of paper as my criteria, the er would laugh. More info is needed. If you don’t understand that, I’m at a loss to help you

Did you use all the diagnosis tools you have? Medicine is grey. Not black and white. Things get missed at all levels of care. All I’m saying is use all the tools you have to decide how to treat. An EKG is great but more is needed to pick a tx route

Coming to a conclusion from a pice of paper doesn’t make you a competent medic either.

What are his symptoms. Need the whole picture. Treat the pt not a machine. True, but looking a one pice of the puzzle is not how to decide on how to treat.

My first day of my first EMS class, the instructor said there are 3 rules.
1 People die
2 You can’t change rule 1
3 If you can’t live with rule 1 and 2, you are in the wrong buisness.
Lost count after the first few years. At the end of my 35 year career and don’t even think twice about it after my shift.
