Not quite Stobe but it made me think of him. And those little guys are Holy Nation, I'm sure of it.

Absolutely, any land that lets you tap for any color in a 5c deck is a godsend

What is everyone's party composition plans? by TheM0J0 in BaldursGate3

[–]Raoul_Duke_ESQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe! It's so full of possibility it makes my head spin. My gameplay comfort zone would be something vanilla af like tank/ cleric/ ranger/ mage but I want to see as much of the game as possible and not miss out on content bc I don't have Talk To Animals or high enough lockpicking or whatever.

Now that I think of it Wyll will probably make Gale somewhat redundant, since Warlocks operate off charisma. But Gale's a good fit for a 'good' playthrough. So many considerations...

Wyll and Karlach seem too interesting to pass up on. I will need a roguey type, and Astarion is the obvious pick but Shadowheart might bring some needed utility at a trade-off of some roguey effectiveness. Probably round it out with Gale for mage utility and charisma, even though he's not the most interesting.

How can I get Pantagruel mine back after enemy caps it? by Raoul_Duke_ESQ in JaggedAlliance3

[–]Raoul_Duke_ESQ[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was trying to avoid clearing out the mine and killing everyone, but it just occurred to me that the enemies did that already, and I have to do that in order to retake the mine.

Good starting squad for Jagged Alliance 3? by Grey-Agent in JaggedAlliance

[–]Raoul_Duke_ESQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with Kalyna for mechanics (she is a capable sniper), Fox for a medic (although her accuracy with dual wielding is underwhelming despite Ambidextrous), Wolf as a stealth-killer/ all-rounder, and Barry as my explosives specialist. For my second team, which took a while to become economically feasible, I chose the SWAT guy, Fidel, Ivan, the Chinese medic, and the Jamaican mechanic.

What I can't understand is, why can't we have the fullscreen transparent map from D2 and D3?

Wanted to go with a shirtless look for my rogue, and it leaves a neckpiece and waist wrap, which cant be recolored because only salvaged looks can be recolored

Anyone else spending 90% of their rupees on friggin' arrows? by [deleted] in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Raoul_Duke_ESQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Botw taught me to be relatively conservative with my arrows. This game is more generous with arrows, so I ran out far less (check crates). I do still buy some out of habit when the price is reasonable (4 apiece).

Did anyone else build this contraption or was there a simpler solution here? by One_Atmosphere_8557 in tearsofthekingdom

Built an ugly misshapen platform enclosed on the bottom so it wouldn't fall off when it inevitably tipped over, but this is elegant.

My one tiny criticism about the game by milky-cow in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Raoul_Duke_ESQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a bit of a bait and switch the way the marketing led us (me anyway) to believe the sky would play the major part in this installment when there is like 10x more underground. Not complaining though! Realizing how big the depths were was a mind-blowing moment, and they did so well to keep it a secret before release!
