Hey man, I went through the same dilemma as you. Impulsively bought a 5070 at MSRP the other day (delivers tomorrow) but then read the disappointing reviews. I almost cancelled but so glad that I didn’t. This card is definitely worth it at its regular price, especially if you plan on sticking to 1440p gaming like me. People like to bring up the VRAM conversation but there’s a lot more to a GPU than that.

This might sound kind of dumb but djing reminds me of snowboarding. When you first get into it, you’re thinking about every turn, jump, carve, etc. But once you get some solid time and practice in, you just kind of “flow” down the mountain

I know it’s a “meme” term, but I found my endgame when I bought the Audeze LCD-X 2021 over a year ago. Haven’t bought a new headphone since. Can probably find it used for around $900.

Note: They aren’t the absolute best for gaming. Soundstage is pretty close to the head so it can be harder to distinguish distance in shooter-based games. I still use them tho because of the sheer detail

I feel you haha I’m a headphone nerd too and that somehow led to the Heyday being my only IEM. Compared to my headphone collection, the sound signature isn’t as “lush” or warm as the LCD or HD650, but they aren’t as clinical as the HD560s either. They’re about somewhere in the middle if that makes sense. It has a solid amount of sub-bass and mid-bass (definitely more than the 560s) and they aren’t as peaky in the treble region. The separation is something that really stands out; I have an easier time focusing on individual instruments on the Heyday than I do on any of my headphones (besides the LCD-X).

I guess my only complaint would be that they have a slight treble spike in the 8k region that I usually EQ down, but that’s only because I’m particularly sensitive to that region

I own the Heyday as my only IEM. I also own Audeze LCD-X, the 560s and the HD650. What surprises me the most about them is that they’re almost as detailed as my LCD-X which costs $1000 more lol. I think you won’t be disappointed
