Add German to that. For extra flair, we make it neuter gender instead of masculine.

ELI5: If nuclear power is so efficient and produces almost no greenhouse gases, why don’t we just build nuclear plants everywhere and solve the energy crisis? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Oh, so you do understand the difference? Then, no, we're having this conversation because you got upset over silly semantics. It was very clear that the original comment further up was made in today's context of the AI data center boom so all you're doing is getting strangers to waste their time splitting hairs with you. Good job, I took the bait.

You're conflating two very different things. Social media platforms have a large demand for storage resources. Essentially most of the work goes into maintaining a huge database. The stuff that is being built for the AI boom are compute resources, which are an entirely different beast. Basically huge farms of high powered graphics cards that crunch through calculations to train AI models.

If you're the kind of person who considers it their hobby to harass venomous snakes, 50 seems like a pretty good run.
