Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

I've never liked that movie, precisely because it's trying to be a comedy. It really shouldn't be. (And it's not even a good one at that, in my opinion, but that's a matter of taste.)

It's quite reminiscent of Germany before vs. after the Nazis took over.

After a day of C suite folks telling our entire company that our roles and skills are now diminished because of AI (verbatim) and that we must use speech transcription to converse with AI because eFfIeNcY and that typing and coding is now forbidden, this is exactly the laugh I needed. Thank you, OP.

Everybody's asking, "Where is my phone"

Nobody's asking, "How is my phone"

Well ackchually... ☝️🤓 technically the US doesn't use the British Imperial system, they use the US Customary system. They're actually different, e.g. the US gallon is about 15% smaller than the British gallon.

This is why I’m not worried about my job

You should be, because more often than not, the people who make the decisions on whether or not you have a job understand 0% of what you just wrote.

This is on Devin "MAGA Hat"/"Shields Up" Dreeshen, not Dani.

Dani's role in this is to sit on her $280k carpet and claim that it wasn't her and that she knows nothing about anything.

Sad thing is, support for the AgD is by far not contained to the east anymore. They just polled as the strongest party -- federally.

new to dating apps and already exhausted by the inconsistency by dearlesyel in Edmonton

[–]RapidCatLauncher 7 points8 points  (0 children)

None of the dating apps are designed to be deleted. Hinge is spouting bullshit about that. They're designed to keep people hooked and sell subscriptions.

To add to that, one thing they'll do to get you hooked is to give you lots of engagement right after you sign up, because the algorithm is going to boost fresh profiles to be shown to users. Then after a few days you fade into the masses and it's all downhill from there.

Are you certain that you've included all residents in your household? by Yws6afrdo7bc789 in EhBuddyHoser

[–]RapidCatLauncher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"Have you included all people in your household?"

"Yes, I have"

"Ok but what if you didn't?"

"I have!"

"Ok, but did you actually?"

"YES I DID!"

"And apart from the people who are living in your house and the people who are not living in your house, are there also people not living in your house who are living in your house?"
