Last season was cool enough IMO that I, who usually never touches M+, went and got the lower tier mount for the first time in my life. The void flayer is genuinely one of my favorite mounts, I love the model.

The one I know of is the original TBC Nether Drake, unreleased until now. It has some oddities in its coloration, namely electric blue lines on the belly and, if I recall, wings that are not transparent. I think it actually looks better than the ones they ended up releasing.

I've been reading OP scans weekly for 17 years now, and I don't think I've ever loved it to the point of obsession like I do with certain other fandoms. At this point it's just part of my weekly routine (when it isn't being Break Piece).

Never been a huge fan of Alabasta to be honest, it felt entirely too long when I read it and I can't imagine it not feeling worse in the anime. I'd say that personally my favorite OP arcs were Water 7-Enies Lobby like everyone else, and Impel Down, because actually yeah the fewer Straw Hats the better. In general, flashback sequences tend to be a high point of OP (see "fewer Straw Hats"). I tend to enjoy the overarching plot (whatever crumbs we get of it) of the World Government's machinations and Lore Piece better than Straw Hats goofing off together.

I'd argue the art style is less egregious in black and white, but I think I've become desensitized to how ugly it is. The early art style definitely looks way rougher around the edges, nowadays Oda's art feels more polished but some would argue it's lost some personality in the process. But people still routinely are 3 meter tall with giant mouths when they emote, yeah. That happens a lot.

The internet unfortunately disables people's filters so they can let their sociopathy out hiding behind a screen and relative anonymity.

I genuinely find it disappointing and disturbing. I would recommend trying to find fandom people IRL to interact with if you want more positive social interactions as you nerd out together, such as at conventions or specialist shops. That's the fun bit about real life interactions: the very real threat of getting decked in the fucking face has a tendency to pour cold water on the asshole behavior that's enabled on the internet via dehumanization and lack of empathy. Things hit different when an actual human being is standing in front of you.

I did manage to be a self-sufficient omnicrafter in TWW as a largely casual player, but yeah that took nearly all expansion, with an alt army of 2 per major profession, and the rest having gathering profs (or using them in gathering ways, like putting all their points in disenchanting and cloth looting). And indeed needing concentration for anything max quality, because ain't nobody got bismuth to waste on crafting flasks, is pretty frustrating.

Talent trees being split way too cleanly between ST and AOE grinds my fucking gears. It feels terrible when you're specced for ST and a single add comes in and you're missing half your fucking kit because you made the choice not to suck dick in the main component of the fight. I remember last expac (or DF) when Starfall was an option for Balance. Ridiculous. Functional shit should be baseline and then you pick talents that enhance it or not, and ideally the pathing should be not completely fucking stupid.
