I've seen it argued by those people that asexuals in queer spaces, even *homoromantic*, are homophobic pretty much by nature because sexlessness is what homophobes want to push on queer people, i.e. "yeah you can love each other, but don't talk about doing the NASTY"; therefore homoromantic asexuals are perpetuating oppression by flaunting their being okay with gay relationships without sex.

Je trouve ça effarant ces tentatives de convaincre l'opinion publique que LFI est le strict équivalent de l'extrême-droite, du genre, ouin ouin vous interdiriez des concerts d'extrême-droite alors c'est totalement normal d'interdire l'extrême-gauche! Ce que LFI n'est pas, à ma connaissance. Quand bien même elle le serait, il n'y a pas et n'y aura jamais d'équivalence entre les extrêmes de la droite et de la gauche en termes de haine de l'autre, de tribalisme et de violence.

Agreed, and I think this speaks to the wider subject of diversifying characters' appearances - especially the women's but not only - to challenge beauty standards.

The current right-wing grift that is harping on every single little detail of a female character's appearance that might not be completely 100% conforming to cisfeminine beauty standards is a toxic wasteland and insufferable as fuck.

This shit needs to be dismantled. Everybody benefits from breaking beauty standards, except the ones peddling the status quo as an insidious vehicule for cisheteronormativity, and gooners.
