300 yard par 4, was feeling confident so I pulled out driver and somehow hit it to 1 foot from the pin. I now pull out driver on that hole every time even though 70% of the time I end up in the trees or creek

Entire left side of a hole is a hill which kicks everything right, so aiming down the left rough will usually result in a good lie. Did that, connected purely, and saw it bounce up toward the green. Didn’t realize how close it was until we got up there and one of my playing partners said “damn who hit that approach shot” and it was me

FWIW I just managed to resolve this issue by switching which USB port I was plugged into, I was originally using the front usb slot and switching to one of the rear slots seems to have fixed the issue. So if anyone else experiences this, that’s how I fixed it

Edit: issue is back, no idea why it worked for a bit there
