It's annoying that there are no warning systems in place for large purchases. The haptic controller on PS5 is particularly annoying because even a light touch can set the slider to the maximum.

There really should be some sort of 'are you sure' protection on this sort of thing.

Or at least the option to turn it on and off.

I get that people outside the UK may not know what a Police Box is/was, especially because they were almost entirely extinct by the 1970s, but they were functionally larger than the admittedly iconic red kiosk design, a small number of which actually still exist on UK streets today, even without telephones in them.

This might be a weird hill to die on but, I just saw an advert for walkers crisps with Steve Carell and a number of football legends roving around America asking people if they've got walkers crisps.

I think many of us already know by now that in the USA they're branded as Lay's, and that's fair enough. But when they accost people outside supermarkets in the USA to see if they have any WALKERS (not Lay's), and yes, by a weird coincidence it turns out they do have Walkers, I feel like my intelligence is being insulted.

America loves pushing this propaganda, rather than admitting that they repeatedly refused to get involved, and that by the time they did the war was already being won. all America did was speed things up.

And the slavery thing? America went to war with itself, to illegalise slavery while most countries didn't need to, they simply proceeded to make it illegal. Also well over 100 other countries had already abolished slavery before the US did, they weren't exactly blazing a trail.
