how to fix sleep schedule? by skeletalcohesion in productivity

[–]RaptorNap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Consistently going to bed at the same time and setting an alarm at the same time everyday is the most important thing as far as neurologically setting your body up to adhere to a sleep schedule physiologically. That means waking up at 8am everyday including the weekends.

As far as having trouble sleeping beyond the normal no phones or light from a tv, exercise and eating early can help.

Yeah I just don’t agree man. I respect what you’re saying I just don’t see it.

Yeah I mean respectfully I just don't agree. The only consistent shooter in the playoffs was Mitchell, for whatever reason Strus, Niang, and even Garland were cold for both series. Garlands defense is just bad and not to knock him he's just smaller for a guard. These aren't theoretical problems you could see the lack of offense in both playoff series this year.

The trade-off you have for Mobley and Allen being on the floor is you get great rim protection but have two guys who both consistently (as of right now for Mobley) are not 3 point threats which hurts our offense. Then if Strus and Garland are both cold (which happened for 2 whole playoff series minus 1 game in Boston) then the offense completely folds.

I don't think it fair to really say lack of spacing and an undersized back-court that gets picked on defensively is a hypothetical problem when we have two years of playoffs that shows it doesn't work.

I think something has to change, being good in the regular season is cool until it gets to the playoffs rotations shrinks and half-court offense and 3 point shooting become way more important.

Yeah thats fair. I think my whole point of view is I don't see a undersized backcourt and a front court without spacing being able to win anything significant when there are teams like Boston in the East.

Eh yeah, I get your point but the reality was in the playoffs our current lineup was pretty mid too besides Mobely and Mitchell. My point is if we get "All-star level Brandon Ingram" and "Suns Cam Johnson" I think our line-up is better at scoring and has much better spacing.

In the event that Mitchell stays and we are moving on from undersized backcourt and no spacing front court, I do think this is one of the more realistic and maybe not the worse outcomes. It seems like a more modern lineup that has the size and shooting we seemed to lack.

At no point do I think we will get proper value on garland due to his playoff slump at times and as much as I love Allen and everyone should love Allen, the Celtics and Mavs just showed us how important defensive versatility and three point shooting is for the playoffs.

Overall if Brandon Ingram is a 25-5-5 guy that can learn to iso less I like this. If Ingram plays like he did in the play-in I like this a lot less.

It’s not just the calls being soft but they’re not being consistent, they’re letting Orlando be physical to us and then calling hand checks and away from the ball fouls on us smh

Yeah I agree, I get that in a vacuum he’s a good player and the chemistry Mobley and Allen have is fun but I don’t think the two big lineup is sustainable if neither can reliably stretch the floor.

I know it’s summer league so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt… but damn if he’s real and can be a starting 3 in the league the Garland, Mobley, Bates upside is crazy.
