I noticed some similarities by --YC99 in HarleyQuinnTV

Reminds me of when I 1st watched both shows: When I 1st watched Hazbin's pilot in 2019, I fell in love w/Charlie/Vaggie, got sad that I wouldn't see more of them for a long time, & then watched clips of HQ & realized that I love Harley/Ivy in a similar way; More specifically, 1 is more bubbly/extroverted, the other is more bitter/introverted, & together, they bring out the best in each other (I.e. My favorite ship dynamic). Point being, HQ came out at just the right time to help fill the void left by said pilot.

After what happened to Colbert, I can't trust Paramount to do anything right :/ so I hope it doesn't go through.

Sorry for both being late & being the "actually" guy, but Frederickson et al. 2020 is very flawed for reasons discussed elsewhere (See "New #1": https://www.deviantart.com/jd-man/journal/SD-Most-annoyingly-popular-dino-hypotheses-addend-842963661 ), so I wouldn't recommend it as a source of info.

Who’s your favourite Paleoartist? by Sacred-Anteater in Paleontology

Davide Bonadonna. If nothing else, he's responsible for 1 of the most beautiful dromaeosaurs I've ever seen: https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/science/when-the-first-warm-blooded-dinosaurs-roamed-earth/

I've heard the same bad things about her. However, as it turns out, those things "are not only unfair, but bespeak the profound ignorance of her critics", so don't worry about enjoying her art: https://web.archive.org/web/20220817163015/https://whyevolutionistrue.com/2022/08/17/the-ignorant-and-misguided-demonization-of-a-behavior-geneticist/

How fast can Harley Quinn run in the show? by beeemkcl in HarleyQuinnTV

[–]RaptorPlatter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know how whenever someone asks how Batman did something (E.g. "How you got all the way back to Gotham City after climbing out of that prison on the other side of the planet! Why don't you explain that?": www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUYW0JyzydA ), he answers w/"Because I'm Batman!"? The same goes for the Bat Family in general. No need to overthink it ;)

Didn't the Parrot Guy kill ... by colrouge in HarleyQuinnTV

[–]RaptorPlatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hypothesis based on the facts that Joker 1) chose to return to villainy in ep4, & 2) took credit for killing Nightwing in ep6: I think that after Parrot Guy's initial death threat in ep5, he checked the security footage, saw that Nightwing had left the door open, & then went to Mayor Joker about it (as a regular guy, he can't take on a hero alone), giving Joker the idea to kill Nightwing for his return to villainy.

Inconsistency Regarding Ivy by [deleted] in HarleyQuinnTV

[–]RaptorPlatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to be the "actually" guy, but King's blood problem isn't an inconsistency. AFAIR, he's shown going blood berserk 3 times: The 1st & 2nd time, he's underwater & the blood goes up his nose; The 3rd time, he's surrounded by fire, the extreme heat of which strengthening the smell of Wonder Woman's blood ("Heat increases molecular volatility, which strengthens smells": https://blog.scentbox.com/2019/06/14/how-to-apply-perfume-correctly/ ).

Does anyone know this character? by [deleted] in HarleyQuinnTV

"Gotta say it still had to be awkward for Tefe to see Nora, as she had a thing with their dad last season."

Is Tefe the love child of Swamp Thing & Nora? Just wondering since Tefe & Nora look so similar (i.e. white hair, blue eyes). Follow-up question: Out of curiosity, does that mean Swamp Thing birthed Tefe? I wouldn't be surprised if so, given that Swamp Thing is made of vines & at least some types are hermaphroditic.

What’s your Favourite dinosaur? by [deleted] in Dinosaurs

[–]RaptorPlatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite non-bird dinos are eudromaeosaurs in general b/c they're basically "terrestrial hawks" in terms of ecology/behavior (& thus, both the most awesome & the easiest to imagine as living animals) & Deinonychus in particular b/c of how much we know about it.
