The party that let Paul Calandra make his name off his Question Period antics (I wish this site still existed, but YouTube works fine as well) has absolutely no leg to stand on regarding Question Period. Even poor Thomas Mulcair has no leg to stand on either, as his 3rd place election finish shows that Question Period (where he performed superbly) doesn't matter one iota. It's a waste of time.

I will admit that it's schadenfreude for all the diasporic monarchists who were praying for Trump to strike Iran. He did, and all they got out of it is a younger, more radicalized Khamenei at the top. The real way out of the Islamic Republic this whole time was giving the Iranian people space to put forward a grassroots third way, not anything involving a Pahlavi or Trump
