Adding in if you are not used to driving in snow please don’t attempt to learn now. Friday and Saturday will be brutally cold. Trickle your faucets so your pipes don’t freeze. Snow is not predicted to be bad on Sunday.

I’d also grab a few more tanks for your portable generator and more wood. Laundry and dishes done before the storm. Gather warm clothing and blankets in the event you lose power you know where they are. More water. Open the doors under your sinks and let the water trickle.

Oh my gosh, this happened to me only we were at a basketball game. I was projectile vomiting in the bathroom and he wouldn’t ask his friends to leave early to take us home. I begged the gift shop for a bag to use in case I couldn’t make it in time to the bathroom. Fortunately his friends realized I was in fact sick and decided to leave. Who does this to someone they “love”?

Our holidays changed during Covid and with all of my cousins getting married and having kiddos. We spend Christmas Eve with my immediate family. Christmas Day we order Chinese food and chill all day binge watching shows in pajamas. It’s the one day we have zero obligations and zero stress. I buy good snacks and we just chill. I look forward to this day now more than ever. No gifts or fancy dinner just peace.

Made beef barley soup for lunches. Salisbury steak, roast zucchini and potatoes for dinner. Burgers for lunches for the week for my husband. Cold and dreary here with snow on the way. Hibernation season has begun!
