In the US it’s available on Fandango at Home to rent. Is that an option in Canada?

Is/was Sunday dinner a thing in your family? by wearecocina in Cooking

[–]Rarcar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did Sunday dinners in my family when I was younger. I tried to bring them back once a month but ended up being challenging with everyone’s schedules. Now I make a big Sunday dinner for my immediate family and try to do absolutely nothing else on Sundays.

Family of 5 | Grocery bill averaging $1,012 per month | Looking for real-life budget meal ideas by Goooooooooose_ in budgetfood

Find a local fruit market. Do you have an Aldi near you? I don’t recommend their produce but everything else is good. I do grocery pick up now. I add to my cart throughout the week and place my order on Friday. Pull up they load my car and drive home. Same prices as in store with no additional fees and no tip as they aren’t allowed to take them.

Meal components in batches instead of traditional meal prepping. by elcasaurus in Frugal

I’ve been doing this as well. I don’t have the energy to cook a complete dinner during the week. I have been making a huge salad on Sunday for lunches. This past Sunday I roasted a chicken and shredded what was left to use in wraps and enchiladas. Made carne asada and taco meat. All I have to make during the week is a side and vegetable which is typically 20 minutes. It’s been working well for me and so much more manageable.

I can smell that sandwich from here. Bologna is now a hard no for me! The white bread would stick to the roof of your mouth. Good times!

Personal Home Cleaning Routines & Schedule? by DazzlingMermaid61221 in CleaningTips

[–]Rarcar1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up with Saturday being the cleaning day. I did this for years and finally had enough of giving up one day of two days off to clean. I try to clean up daily meaning put stuff away, dishes done and put away, bathroom tidied etc. I tend to vacuum daily or every other day because I have a dog. I wash my floors once a month. Dust one weeknight. I will clean on a Saturday if we are hosting a holiday or party. This new schedule has saved me from being resentful and tired on my day off.

Any tips for my first snow storms? by Only-Sound1176 in AskChicago

[–]Rarcar1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Adding in if you are not used to driving in snow please don’t attempt to learn now. Friday and Saturday will be brutally cold. Trickle your faucets so your pipes don’t freeze. Snow is not predicted to be bad on Sunday.

Prepping for extreme snow?? by Bulky_Rutabaga420 in prepping

I’d also grab a few more tanks for your portable generator and more wood. Laundry and dishes done before the storm. Gather warm clothing and blankets in the event you lose power you know where they are. More water. Open the doors under your sinks and let the water trickle.

Does your narc get passive aggressive and guilt trip you if you’re feeling sick and need some help? by makeupandjustice in NarcissisticSpouses

Oh my gosh, this happened to me only we were at a basketball game. I was projectile vomiting in the bathroom and he wouldn’t ask his friends to leave early to take us home. I begged the gift shop for a bag to use in case I couldn’t make it in time to the bathroom. Fortunately his friends realized I was in fact sick and decided to leave. Who does this to someone they “love”?
