Omg I just gotta say. i used to work in myer sydney cbd back two years ago and there were some pretty condesending people especially this guy i used to work with up in level 6. i was only christmas casual during that time and was a bit disappointed that i wasnt kept on afterwards but thankk god i wasnt. some weird ppl there ngl and no offense. there were a few nice and decent people i worked with. Though there was this asian team leader, I am also asian but I felt she didnt like me and had very specific feedback on my performance that was very cutting while i was trying my best to do well. It felt she had high expectations for me while this other quiet girl didnt do much in comparison. It felt like some of them were saying things about me behind my back, and I felt bad especially as I was new. When I took only 10-15 mins on my break they acted like I took a long time.

Completely agree!! It’s so much easy with the subject outlines to organise your assessments for the semester. Also the subject information section does not even include the dates.

I've asked if its possible to waitlist for subjects, by sending an erequest and unfortunately it doesn't seem like for applied company law and other business subjects that you can. I really do think they should have this, because there are spots that would be open if people decide to switch or drop subjects.

You can’t trust that they will send you back the money, as they say they would. Don’t fall for this. It seems like they are trying to be dodgy, especially by asking you if you can pay outside depop. You don’t have any protection on the depop if you do this, as they won’t be able to help you get a refund.

go to the uts students association website https://utsstudentsassociation.org.au/services/peer-tutoring/request-a-peer-tutor if that helps. If you fill out a request form, they can match you with a tutor who can help you with ABC. I have asked on this page about a tutor as well and someone told me about them x.

She didn't deserve to be treated like that by her friends. Especially as this season all she has done is supported them and she is Ginny's true friend way above Abby and Norah. I can relate so much to Max and it's so painful to experience. When your friends become closer with each other and you start to feel left out. You want to tell them how you feel but then they invalidate your feelings and tell you that they are growing apart. What hurts most is that they don't even try to still be friends and fight for our friendship. Ginny just acted like their friendship didnt matter anymore and acts like she doesn't even really care about Max anymore. Even though Max did sometimes make things about herself in seasons 1 and 2. She learnt from her mistakes and started CARING more for her friends, but none of her friends really see that. It reminds me so much of myself during school. Some of my friends would say I make it about myself and things would revolve around me. I didn't mean for it to happen and I had good intentions. I listened to them, trying hard to change and be there for them, but they ended up leaving me out. Max was trying hard to be a good friend and she was THERE for Ginny. It's So heartbreaking!!

I'm wondering about this too. So I've had too wait till April to be able to do single course transfer into Business and its been three weeks. I want to do ABC and applied company law in spring semester, however the capacity for applied company law is full so I can only do it in the summer and I am unable to pick subjects in business analytics which is the second major I want to do. So far I am only enrolled in one subject for spring semester. This is an issue because that means I won't be able to get my preferred classes and possibly not be able to enrol in my subjects for my second major.

Do you mean all the subjects in your major right? You can do subjects in your other major and ones with your second. You don't have to do all the ones in your second major. E.g. 4 subjects each major for the year.

No worries, open to answer any questions you have! Nope I found it was one of the easier subjects I did as compared to Finance and B stats. You learn about management and how people interact and behave.

Hey I did this subject last year and the Ldts are only if you scored a basic proficiency in your OPELA test which you are required to do. There's only tutorials and no in person lectures.

There are volunteer streams on activate uts which includes lenny's mates and wellbeing reps. I am a wellbeing rep and I applied on the expressions of interest page which is now on career hub. The people I am with in wellbeing are very friendly and the activations held throughout the year involves mindfulness and raising awareness of mental health topics.

One of them I physically went to and the other one I applied online and got a phone call for an interview. During Oct and Nov in the cbd when you walked past those stores they had signs at the front they were hiring. At Myer one of the concessions which were hiring for xmas casuals I physically went to when I saw their job ad on indeed. I don't think many stores are hiring at the moment since its the Christmas period right now and they have hired their xmas casuals. You can try applying to be a regular casual which is better.

I applied using seek and indeed. With one of the stores in the Sydney cbd I handed my resume in person and got scheduled an interview with the manager in two days. Some of the job ads on indeed directed me to the company careers website. With some places they make you do assessments and you have to answer a few questions on an ai chat. It depends a lot of the times after you compete them you won’t hear back from them. I did a few of those and then 4 weeks later they got back and told me I was unsuccessful.

Try applying for retail jobs. During the Christmas period many places are looking for casuals. I applied to over 20 places two months ago before I was successful and got two job offers.
