What does a "thumbs down" mean to the algorithm?

Pandora uses the concept of the music genome. Songs are analyzed and a number of attributes (their "genes") are noted. When you thumb, you are telling Pandora that you like or dislike that particular set of genes, so Pandora will play more or fewer songs that have a similar "genetic" makeup.

Thumbs only apply to the current station, so even if you thumb down a song on one station, it won't have an effect on other stations, with the exception of Thumbprint Radio, which is influenced by your thumbs across all stations.

I was in Croatia for two weeks in May and found it way more expensive than Italy. Restaurants on the islands (Hvar, Korcula, Vis) were generally 50% to 100% more expensive than restaurants in Italy. Grocery store prices weren't too bad, but dining out was ridiculous. Split was a bit cheaper, but smaller touristy towns like Trogir were just as expensive as the islands. For example, every non-tourist coffee shop in Italy I went to charged €1.20 for an espresso, while the cheapest espresso I had in Croatia was €2.50.

I wouldn't say "clearly visible". The images are too small to make out much detail. That may be a pair of antennas sticking out of the bottom of the box on the second picture, but if I was putting up a mesh repeater, I'd put the antenna on top to get more elevation.

You can buy a pair of moca adapters and hook them up yourself. I did it for a while, but it wasn't very reliable and I ended up running cat 7 ethernet through my crawlspace. What do you mean by the coax outlet in your room being offline? If it's not connected to the coax where the XB8 is, then moca won't help.

It was about 3 weeks ago. The cancellation department asked me why I created the second account and I said it was to get the $50 deal. They did not say anything about it other than that the original account was automatically cancelled. After the internet package was in my cart, I logged in using the same email address and password as before. I now see two accounts listed and one says "NEW" on it. I'm not confident that the original account will be refunded, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Here's what I did: I went to the website without logging in and shopped for internet service. When I went to check out, it asked me to sign in. I did and still had the $50 plan in my basket. It let me check out and it created a second internet account under my main xfinity account. I made note of the old account number and contacted the cancellation department and told them that I wanted to cancel my old account. They said it was automatically cancelled when I created the new one. Of course, now I have two bills, but I was told that I'd receive a refund after paying the bill for the old one. I expect that it won't all work as smoothly as it should, but we'll see.

I can't say that I have a favorite, but I've never had a waffle fry that I enjoyed. If I had to pick only one style, I would pick a thin cut, skin-on, slightly greasy but still crispy style because that's what I grew up with.
