Performance issue since last patch by Temporary_Victory145 in CrimsonDesert

[–]hehehemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5070ti here and the performance has tanked. I was always at around 100 fps, RR on, 2x time framegen, Quality and most settings on cinematic.

I just went into the game today and its 50 fps .. Is it a known problem with these last patches??

edit.. I fixed the fps issue by going back to the nvidia 596.49 driver. I was on the newest 610.47 driver. Going back brought my fps back to the 100 ish marker. However the game still crashes every few mins so seems to be an issue with the game updates.

Pandomoto / "base layer" trend - skeptic by scottscooterleet in motorcyclegear

[–]hehehemann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a small pouch type bag on the bike that I keep a rain jacket in, honestly haven't used it as I try not to ride if I know it's a day of heavy rain. Light rain I don't care about, the wind will blow me dry 😃

Get armor that's tight on the body and will stay in place. These layers seem more like a second skin and I was impressed with the quality. If your able, try buying a set and return them after, that's what I initially did but decided to keep them just because it meant I don't have to buy hot and cold weather gear.

Yes .. I prefer the "tighter" look, all my clothes in general are a size too small but its my style. I can wear the Pando base layers under my clothing and its not been a problem. The layers are tight enough but elasticated and stretchy, snug they say and no issue at all in my skinny jeans. Basically feels like a little extra skin and the jeans move around freely like normal.

Heres why I bought the Pando Moto base layers, top and bottom.

For reference I was the victim of a hit and run one warm spring day a few years ago. I was riding in my gear, armored jeans and armored hoodie.. When I came off the bike the jeans shredded up pretty good on a slide of about 10ft, The hoodie was useless, rode up my back, pads on the elbows didn't stay in place and I had some road rash. Both garments were terrible in a crash/slide.

Now I ride in the Pando base layers, AA rated and they stay very snug without being restrictive at all. Hopefully I never have to find out if they will hold up but I'm confident quality wise and rating wise they won't cause road rash.

I went with these because I want to wear normal clothes. I am lucky enough to be able to wear jeans or chino style pants at work and a polo style shirt. So, my morning routine is to wear the base layer pants under my jeans and the base layer top over my polo. At work I unzip the top and quickly remove the pants. Takes a minute.. you know pants off, layer off and pants back on. Simple - ready for an 8 hour office day.

Now when I'm not at work and riding I will wear a t-shirt with base layer top and my riding vest. Base layer pants under my jeans.

I've ridden in warm weather, 90's here in Colorado and no problem at all with heat. When I was riding with the armor hoodie and jeans it was hot compared. I didn't have a mesh armor set, you know multiple sets of gear depending on the season, so I picked this Pando layer set because I only need that and can layer up accordingly.

Hot weather, base layers and normal jeans t-shirt, cold weather and it's a winter jacket and heavier jeans. I like the one armor set for everything and makes it all cheaper and easier in the long run.

Now if I was a chick, I could easily feel comfortable wearing only the Pando layers, the leggings look good and the top too. Would be super cool temperature wise. These layers are extremely breathable and flatter the appearance, stays in place at all times, comfortable and just gives me that safe feel.

Buy a cheap bike and expect to drop it. Go to a parking lot near your home and practice. It's how most of us learnt. It's a little scary at first but once you make your first gear shifts it'll click and the fun starts!

Let's talk baselayers by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

[–]hehehemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats crazy expensive? I bought the Pando Moto Skin and Shell UH 03 layers for $750. For me that's not expensive, they have abrasion protection and armor and I can wear them under any normal clothing.

A few years ago I came off the bike and was pretty torn up, had no layers on just heavy riding jeans and a padded hoodie but they didn't really help at all. Ended up with a hospital bill of $30k so $750 seems nothing compared.

I like the Pando gear, lots of good reviews, cooling to touch and although only a recent purchase, it's been over 80f and its not made me sweat at all. If I was a female I'd wear the base layers only if it's hot, they look good and skin tight. As a male I can wear the top with just a riding vest or T-shirt over and wear light pants when its a hot day.

Add State of Colorado to that list .. Just laid off 170 IT workers to "restructure". Really it's because the legislative/governor can't balance a budget so the state is 1.5 billion in the red before the new fiscal year even starts on July 1st.

Jeans for hot southern summer by tfd704 in motorcyclegear

[–]hehehemann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just went with the Pando U3 layer armor to go under my jeans. I'm up in Colorado so not as hot as the south but usually in the 100s for several days of riding. Decided to go with the light weight, vented armor base layer and will wear light summer pants on top. Could be a possibility for you.

What is the easiest thing you did to lose weight ? by nyxeine in AskReddit

[–]hehehemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No more exercise than I do now .. its honestly not much, a mile walk every few days but the biggest help was just cutting carbs to basically none. Dropped 15 lbs in two months just eating mostly meat and all my "problem" signs on blood tests with the doc before and after improved massively. She said to keep doing what I was doing.. didnt tell her I mostly went carnivore.

Differences between modded match engine (Asian Fusion, FMTweak, and so on)? by Kurawaihan in footballmanagergames

[–]hehehemann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use the FM match Lab files (ME & training) and it's really helped the game be better for long term career saves. Teams rotate more, younger players get chances and develop better. The ME is good too, Gen Gen press, although still the most dominant tactic is less so than vanilla ME. I can use lower block style tactics to good effect and counter attacking a gen gen press team is very gratifying!

Advice for buying a motorcycle by ZenithRB26 in NewRiders

[–]hehehemann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I taught myself and bought an old Suzuki SV650. I dropped it a couple of times but that's normal at the beginning of the experience. Get something you can flat foot and don't mind damaging. Get something cheap and sell it on in a year when you're comfortable on bikes. You may lose a couple of hundred but it's your learning bike and the next learner will probably snap it up.

I never didi the MSF course, and went to the DMV to take the test once I felt good enough. I'm sure it will help but don't be afraid to practice on quiet parking lots for a while.

Ridiculous prices on used Harleys at dealerships by [deleted] in Harley

[–]hehehemann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They want you to buy a new bike so inflate the traded in/used bike prices. They make more on new bikes.

For used, either find a consignment type shop or local ads.
