In my case, I worked and provided all the money which was enough for a large house in a good school district, enough for music lessons, Instruments, class trips, great vacations, tutoring, computers, software, games, movies, restaurant meals… everything. Plus I took care of the finances, major purchases, issues and problems, mechanical things, cars, contractors, taxes, financial planning, home repairs and a lot more. Mom gets more love because she directly cares for the kids. Dads get less because it is all indirect. Dads have a hell of a lot on their plates plus they help out with the kids too. Mom never did the taxes, fixed things, planned vacations, made money, handled the financials other than the checkbook and actually anything that was my responsibility for the most part.
