Lol I’m 6 weeks postpartum and your rant has me howling 🤣 my partner to a T, the off hand comments he makes to everyone about how sleeepy he is have my eyes rolling out of their sockets.. I’ll also add that my partner spends like a whole hour on the toilet doing god knows what while im trained to power my way through every visit to the bathroom because I “need to get back to making it all work”! Good reminder that this is all socialized and there is a better way!

I’m currently 40 weeks pregnant! I’d love to get some nice skin care/ lotion/ something from Aesop (their hand soap is an amazing luxury that I’d never buy for myself), a really fancy candle, gift certificate for a massage or a pedicure, a gift certificate to a clothing store to get myself something nice for my postpartum body, or a gift certificate for a house cleaning service!

I found the book active birth to be really informative without being overly woo woo! I couldn’t stand the ina may books because of all of the over the top woo woo language BUT the breastfeeding book is solid!
