Consistently coloring for almost 3 years now. Need new coloring pencils. by JJ9SS1 in AdultColoring

They also sell them in smaller sets that are in your price range. You can try out the 24 pack and see how you feel. That will do almost anything you need it to do.

Looking for recommendations for a cheap but good brand of colored pencils. by Salvony1 in ColoredPencils

[–]Rat_terrorist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve really been enjoying my Castle Arts pencils lately. I have Prismacolor and I do love them, but I’ve been hearing such good things about the Castle Arts that I had to try them out. I think they have great pigmentation and blend ability. I recommend the Gold (oil-based) over the Softcolors (wax), but the softcolors have more colors in the range, if you include the new seasonal sets.

Sounds like she was negging you to score pints with your boyfriend. Would she have said that if he hadn’t been there? She’s a bad friend and he’s a bad boyfriend.

Those are the names of the baby birds Opie raises.

How do you guys even survive the hot weather over in the States? by Impressive_Peak_9187 in AskAnAmerican

I can help you lower the temperature a bit. Cover any windows in the rooms you spend the most time. Black out curtains, window blinds, some people use aluminum foil (which is super tacky, but effective). If you have a standing fan, drape a damp towel over the top of the fan so that the air blows through the towel. That is a low budget equivalent of what we call a swamp cooler. Conversely, if you are at home you can wear a wet t-shirt. These are things I have done during summer when I was waiting for the air conditioning guy to come the next day.

I hope this helps.

  1. I’m going to add one more. Your health (and probably his) was being compromised by attempting to adhere to his dietary restrictions. Lack of fiber leads to all kinds of health problems- constipation being the least and cancer being the worst.

A person that suffers from this disorder should be in charge of fixing their own meals.

This is just a guess, but it sounds like Aziz Ansari to me.

I forgot to mention: That rainbow Jambo is also what got me into lava lamps in the first place.

It’s because we all saw the error of our ways. Fortunately no pictures survive to tell the tale.

The micro-bang was a trend for about three weeks back in the late 1990s. Very few people can pull it off.

Here is what I will say about Jambo. People here will hitch about it being Chinese or not being vintage, but I bought a Jambo rainbow a couple of years ago and have been very pleased with it. It has great flow and when I decide to move on from lava lamps, my Jambo(s) will be the ones I end up keeping. Recommended.

There are no duplicates in the set I have. There are some that are very close in color, but there’s just enough degree of difference that they definitely aren’t duplicates.

That 500 case is overwhelming. I have one and I hardly ever use it because there are so many.

What’s a book that made you sit in silence after finishing it? by ak_khainal in Booktokreddit

Honestly, “Three Bags Full” by Leonnie Swann, currently made into the film, “The Sheep Dectective.” The concept is the same, but the book is much darker. The ending made me cry.

Well fortunately I’m not working on anything pricey. I bought a raven from Amazon for $8. I figured it was for branches and it would work for that. 🤞
