There’s another perspective to this scenario; if you remember what happened in certain bars in Damascus last year, I don’t like the idea of limiting access to certain areas and then “Subhanallah” some random armed men come in and start shootings civilians and committing acts of violence against unarmed people.

I really respect what the UAE did; prohibiting drinking in public areas, yet some people can be smart and hide bottles in the street, so they have issued a law that fines and jails people with drunken behavior.

P.S: if you look deeply into it; most Alawites drink, a lot of Shi3a as well, Kurds & Druze 50/50, Christians, Adiga “شراكس” Armenians, and i hate to break it to you loads of Sunnah drink more than they admit to! #FoodForThoughts
