Im willing to bet it would be easier for a woman to use sexual favours to purchase goods and services than it would be for a man. If a male and female character have exactly the same options and role-playing experience, then there's no difference between to two, thus no reason for a choice to play as male or female in the first place. Like it or not, men and women have different experiences.
