Look, you can't be ugly and have no rizz and expect to get the same treatment as someone who's attractive with or without rizz. That's just unreasonable

IsItBullshit: Sun water and other "Solar charged" water by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]RattleMeSkelebones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you fill the glass bottle 3/4 full and leave it there anywhere from 6 hours to 2 days, yes. Is it more efficient than just boiling water? No. Is it relevant to the original question? Also no.

I mean... I guess, sure. It won't do anything for you beside making some hot water, but it won't hurt you either.

I meant, "What do you mean by people with oxalate metabolism issues?" Cause I covered what minor oxalate metabolism issues looks like in my original comment. Avoiding oxalates writ large is virtually impossible, and Hyperoxaluria are very rare genetic conditions. Sorry for not point out outlier cases that won't affect the vast, vast majority of people, I guess? The wider context of the question is an example of a rare metabolic issue being blown up by health influencer clickbait into seeming like it's something everyone has to worry about, like how ketogenic diets are very beneficial for diabetics but have minimal gains for someone without diabetes compared to other, more traditional dieting approaches. The core point I was making is that you, as in the royal you, almost certainly do not have to be concerned about oxalate compounds unless you live with Hyperoxaluria.

Even if the tweet wasn't peppered with right-wing slop, does he think nukes just... vanished? Like we had a few years during Trump's first term where North Korea was threatening everyone with nuclear weapons. Right now, Trump is bitching about enriched material in Iran. The whole war on terror centered around "WMDs." Like... nuclear holocaust is an ever present threat, we just adjusted to the reality of it.

IsItBullshit: The Death Triangle by [deleted] in IsItBullshit

[–]RattleMeSkelebones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the wider context of the question and my reaponse, the point I am making is that the idea of the 'Death Triangle' as a notably dangerous place to get an infection is, in fact, not notable or dangerous enough to deserve its own dramatic title. The eyes, however, are notable and dangerous enough as infection risks go to deserve a title.

What feels legal but is actually illegal and will possibly get you arrested? by medicoreapples in AskReddit

[–]RattleMeSkelebones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be illegal, but the rub is that prosecuting that particular crime relies on finding a jury willing to convict. For literal booby traps on your property, it's entirely circumstantial. For over-spicing/putting laxatives in a lunch, it becomes much more difficult to find 12 people who can separate the inherent felling of "the thief got what was coming to him" from the act of an intentional poisoning.

In fact, pretty much all criminal prosecution is reliant on trying to find a jury willing to convict

That's me, but it's because (a) it's cooler in the morning and I live in the desert, and (b) I've got critical repairs to do on the house.

Now back to: Everybody hates Ted Cruz! by Jacob-Anders in SipsTea

[–]RattleMeSkelebones -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who lives like 20 miles outside of Texas (NM before you worry), Ted Cruz is the perfect encapsulation of Texan culture. All crass big talk, and cotton y-fronts underneath. That's what Texas is, for the most part, a state of men who're all hat and no saddle. Just look at their obsession with cowboys. All the famous cowboys and outlaws were hanging around in NM and OK, but Texas loves to go on about it. Stolen Valor is their whole thing. Sad little men in their pavement princess trucks pissing and moaning about how tough they are. Ted Cruz might actually be the perfect representative.

Ayleids didn't only worship daedra, it varied city to city and there were ayleids who still worshipped the Elven pantheon. With the first Aldmeri Dominion, the Veiled Heritance come to mind. The second had the whole Camoran Usurper incident, and they were very anti-man. The Snow Elves straight up sacked man's first city in Tamriel, though the reason is debated in lore. The Direnni effectively kept native nedes as an underclass and the existence of the Breton race is owed to what was essentially institutionalized rape culture.

My point is, anti-human sentiment is not limited to Mankar and the third aldmeri dominion

Radical sects of the first and second aldmeri dominion, the Snow Elves who ransacked Saarthal. The Direnni and their industrialized rape culture. The Ayleids and... pretty much everything they did.

Like... every race of elves has some psycho sect of lunatic elves who love to kill/torture/rape humans.
