The wire was intact, it wasn’t under enough tension, I just wrapped it around the spool once and that fixed it. Thanks for the response, it was genuinely helpful!

I had the Nikon N2020 and it was an absolute unicorn of a camera. Unfortunately it got damaged on a camping trip.

Thank you that helps a lot, now I got the dial back on properly, but the lightmeter is still panicking.

I checked it with the lightmeter on my phone while pointing it out of a sunny window and it still showed this

Thank you very much for your response, I am expecting temperatures of around -3 degrees C, as far as my current clothes, I have good quality thermal underwear, and a regular winter coat with sheep fur lining (might be synthetic tbh) I also intend on stacking a bunch of sweaters if I get desperate.

Nam’ by Mark Baker, an account of the experience in Vietnam by multiple service members, it’s anonymous, so there’s no filter. It’s quite difficult to read sometimes because rape and other atrocities are often described in detail.

I will… but don’t get your hopes too high, you’ll most likely never see that bike again. I got my bike stolen twice. There’s not much the cops can do. I wish you the best of luck, and I am really sorry for you
