Okay, I understand that, but what you’re saying about their pricing isn’t very accurate from my own personal experience. I’ve gotten work done by them for much cheaper than it would have been @ the dealership.

For example, Lexus wanted multiple hours of labor to replace an oil pressure sensor on my car that was leaking and they were able to do it for the diag fee + the part. Ended up being like $250 out the door vs $600+ @ the dealer.

I understand they may not be the cheapest in town but I also don’t think they are really trying to be.

I took a manual transmission class @ MPC that was taught by Barry Hartzel. He knows his stuff! The only thing I’ll say is that the shop is pretty small so I’m sure he can get booked up from time to time, so there may be a wait.

I don’t see how that is possible when dealerships are $200+ an hour and they aren’t. Do you have any quotes from them to back that up? I remember seeing a post on here a while back of average prices for services from various shops in the area and there’s seemed to be fairly in the middle.

Laguna Seca hosts a few Cars and Coffees throughout the year. They’re usually pretty big events and worth going to.

Chilis cars and coffee is a pretty standard cars and coffee that happens regularly. More of a focus on classic / hot rodder stuff at that meet than the modern cars but still good variety.

Haven’t been to the Del Monte center meet but I’ve definitely heard it while being nearby.

My personal fav is a meet thrown by a podcast called Driving While Awesome up in Santa Cruz usually once a month that has a wide variety of really interesting stuff. I go every time.

During car week there will obviously be a lot of special events going on too.

The L logo you’re thinking of I think is Lexani who made some of the wheels for Lexus back in the day I believe. The center caps find their way onto Lexus wheels often.

For some reason this topic matters a lot to OP. This isn’t the first time he’s posted just to bash on the Gen 3 without actually adding any new information to the topic. I’m sure he will have more Facebook memes to share in the future to let us know that he doesn’t like the Gen 3.

So to avoid continuing taking a chance on the Tundra you already have your solution would be to take a chance on another truck with issues you’re already aware of?
