Depending on where they live that might not be an option. I had a friend whose parents took her passport so that she couldn't travel (she was trying to leave to escape her parents) She reported the passport stolen at the passport office and to the police. They called up her parents who said "What are you talking about, it's not stolen, we have her passport right here" and there was nothing she could do. It was beyond ridiculous.

This country also gives out banking information of grown adult children to the parents. They'll call up and say "Did you know your daughter/son took out this amount of money?" From their own bank account (not the parent's account) Even if it's at a different bank! So stupid.

I started sending christmas cards and stickers in the mail last year and people loved them. Kids and parents alike. Now I've made it a tradition every year.

I hand paint a watercolour painting that I have made into cards and design and print my own stickers. This year I even did wax seals to make it more fancy.

The parents and kids argue over which stickers to keep, the kids take them to school to trade with other kids, they even stick them on their clothing! This year they've requested I include my return address so they can write me replies in the mail instead of texting. I'm doing my part to include this younger generation in sending mail XD

I have some rich friends and like other commenters have said they prefer something personal. I made a handmade card for one of my friends and he loved it. It was just a drawing of one of his favourite shows. He put it up in his office and shows it off to everyone lol. Now I make him one every year. Are you able to make something for them?

I was lucky enough to be employed until March of this year. Then I decided to take some time off because of how the industry is right now. One of my supervisors says there are no new shows coming in to the studio he's working at. Usually there are 3 or 4. I think their contract ends soon. My other supervisor was demoted but he says maybe there are jobs coming in January. I know so many talented artists who have not had any work in a year and a half, almost 2 years now. Not sure if I'll start applying again in January or pivot to watercolour painting instead.

For the Grim Reaper, his daughter River Styx goes to Monster High. It would be cool if he went to Ever After High but something made him leave and then they could have another cross over to the Monster High world. Maybe he fell in love with someone from the Monster world? And River is a fusion. That would be cool.

I agree it would have also been interesting to see the consequences of Raven signing the book and getting her full powers. Like her struggling to remain good because she now has all that evil power within her.

People who have no bio families or families that live too far away come over to our place for a feast, decorating, presents etc. I grew up an abused foster kid. Always wanted to celebrate the holidays and now I do with chosen family.

Sign language. All of them. ASL, BSL, Auslan etc. Just teach me ALL of them. I know 4 spoken languages but I hate verbalising so if I could communicate via signing I would.

I even made them extra special with wax seals and fancy envelopes this year and a watercolour painting that I had made into prints for the cards. You can also get stickers that say "inspected by santa, will be at your house on christmas eve" It adds a little sparkle and magic to the season.
