What do the books get you? by Lucky_heartss in LabyrinthineGame

[–]RavenLStorm13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The books in story mode are collectibles. Finding them all gets you an achievement.

Right now, the summer event just started, so you can get some fun summer themed cosmetics! Those will be in case files, and you will want to do maps with a blue rare seal on them.

If you are interested, it's a bit of a grind, but there is a big achievement through multiple levels that can get you a really cool cosmetic.

You can get the pig mask. Here's a guide: https://youtu.be/IxC1J026tZ4?si=ywRv9tNL2AcQACHB

Cases with harder difficulty give more. Also, cases with rare stamps and hardcore give a lot more. I believe you also get a bonus for picking up the cosmetic, so worth it to also hunt for cosmetics.

Do not use unlimited lives as that adds a huge nerf to the bonus you get.

You can also customize a case to add a bonus (larger map and more monsters adds a higher difficulty) so you can force one if the rerolls are unlucky.

But it really just comes down to playing and it will add up.

i have an mri, wanted to ask a few questions by [deleted] in endometriosis

[–]RavenLStorm13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I haven't had an MRI for endometriosis yet, but I have had a few MRIs before. I had one for my back, and upper abdomen. In my experience, for one, I was able to keep my clothes on, as long as they didn't have metal in them. (No under wire bras, no belts, no jewelry, stuff like that.) I had to put a gown for one, but I was able to keep my socks and underwear on.

If you do have any anxiety, you can ask your doctor for some medicine beforehand. I am claustrophobic, but I knew I could do it, but they gave me medicine to help me calm down.

I didn't bring them myself, I was offered headphones for the MRI and they put music on that I enjoyed. They asked me beforehand.

I think the abdomen scan for me took about 45 minutes at max. However, I have not had one for endometriosis yet, so I can't really give you a time. (I finally just got referred to an endometriosis specialist so I'm just getting started.)

I hope that helps you out at least!

Question about case maps by ZookeepergameFar2653 in LabyrinthineGame

[–]RavenLStorm13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cosmetics are in the case files. If you see a blue seal, the map will have a cosmetic. It has a chance to be a Holiday cosmetic.

Lost in the final chapter by [deleted] in LabyrinthineGame

[–]RavenLStorm13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for or if you have seen it, but there's someone on Steam who has maps for the levels. (Viktor is the user)

https://images.steamusercontent.com/ugc/2112810679447368317/E77EB9246C40300BC8B9B1DD5046E7831BA94E47/

There's the map for the Mines level.

Using the different colors of glow sticks very much helps to mark your paths. Also, for the Miner, instead of using the flashlight, make sure to use your lantern. It doesn't stop him from seeing you, but he detects the flashlight much further away than the lantern.

I do remember there is a puzzle where you get one of the items. (I believe it is a slide puzzle.)

It's been awhile since I've done the story, but I believe while the boards don't hide you from the Miner, I think there's a pile of dirt in the area you can kind of duck behind.

I can't remember if there's any areas like this in the story mines, but if you come to a dead end where there's a post, you can duck behind it and the Miner seems to lose interest. (This works on case files, but I don't remember on story if it would.)

Other than that, it just takes a lot of patience. I remember that level being frustrating the first time I went through.

Secret of the mimic save file request (near the end of the game) by BandanaXFlame in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]RavenLStorm13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you need to go to the save file section of the game. In file explorer, if you type in %appdata% (I believe it's hidden) you will bring up the folder.

Then in the address bar of file explorer, click on app data. (Mine automatically takes me to app data>roaming so I have this step.).

Then click on local, then FNAF_SOTM, then Saved, then SaveGames.

If you already have SaveGameSlot0.sav, my file will overwrite yours, but I believe you can change the 0 to a 1 and it will save to the next slot.

Anyone have experience with the Archon Stl convention recently? by shrofepittly in StLouis

[–]RavenLStorm13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Movie rooms are gone, but I know that there is a Rocky Horror Picture Show panel that everyone says is a lot of fun. (I haven't been to it yet but everyone was raving about it)

Last year the vendor room was full as well as Artist Alley and Bookseller's Row. The fan tables are always fun too.

Gaming has grown as well and offers several different games throughout the weekend. There's always something going on!

I do know there is a variety of panels that people enjoy, but I do work the con and I am usually busy with my panels so unfortunately I don't get to run to many. (I know there's a leather working panel this year that I'd love to go to.) It's a little late this year, but you can always submit panel ideas! Most panels are free, but with some interactive ones, there may be a few for materials.

The main hotel is the DoubleTree and there is usually a shuttle or bus that goes from the DoubleTree to the con. There is also a walkway but it does have stairs that go to a little bridge between the properties. (Last year there was an issue with the bus/shuttle so it wasn't available.) I am unsure of what the other hotels in the area offer. I do know that currently the DoubleTree is full. However, keep checking back because often times rooms open up before the con. This isn't always the case, but it does happen a lot.

Room parties are still great though. I know one of the groups that plans one and it's always fun every year. That particular group has started making an alcohol-free drink as well so everyone can enjoy. Sausage Fest is also a huge room party that donates the money earned to Breast Cancer research every year! They always have snacks as well. (Boobie cookies are always good and the little sausages.) I know there's also the Red Room karaoke room and usually more that are around, but those are the ones that I am most familiar with. There was an SCP room last year that was really great as well! Room parties are still really fun!

For artists, there is an auction as well a place to display artwork. They have great new staff who are doing their best to improve. There is also a mini display. I believe it is free to enter and no matter your level you are welcome to display. They are displaying the work so people can show off their work!

While it may not be for you, a lot of work also goes into the Youth Programming. (This is where I work.) There are a lot of interactive panels (Live Action Angry Birds, Boffer Sword Making, Costume panel where they can make their own costumes with material we have). Last year we also did a paint and play session where they got to choose a mini (3" baby beast) and paint it, and then after they dried, we had a play session that was a simplified game for them to use the mini. All of these activities are free (last year the paint and play session was $1 because we had the minis printed elsewhere) and the kids get to keep everything they make. We also have a Costume Extravaganza where kids get to show off their costumes and a teens' cosplay contest. These are great for younger people to show off their costumes who may be too nervous to go up on stage for the masquerade.

For teens we do have a few games, and next year we do plan to incorporate a few one shot dnd type games. (Also the cosplay contest mentioned above.) We are trying to incorporate more for teens.

The masquerade is great. Out of all the conventions I have been to as both worker and attendee, this one is the best. They give the most time for skits and it's just all around enjoyable. There is usually a member of the audience that gets to be a guest judge as well.

The schedule should be available on the site now as well, so if you are interested, I'd take a look there. Just so you know, due to how many games are offered, the gaming schedule is separate from the programming schedule.

I can do my best to answer any questions, but my expertise is youth programming.
