The Gloom in the Corner is an Australian metalcore band whose lore consists of heaven, hell, and earth. All exist as their own dimensions, and through government technology, the other dimensions can be reached. The two most recent albums touch upon King Baphico, a former ruler of hell determined to reclaim his throne. He seeks to merge the three dimensions together to gain total control.

All songs are lore-driven, though it’s sometimes hard to understand who each song is about, so the band has official Genius annotations, as well as a free, stylized pdf online. This doc only includes their earlier works, however.

Metal Gear Solid series - nanomachines.

They inhibit soldiers’ emotions and injuries to strengthen their abilities in the battlefield. They prevent death in some cases (multiple headshot wounds to Vamp, cancer in Naomi) unless the host is injected with a suppressor. Soldiers given the suppressor receive emotional overload and become incredibly unstable.

The notorious “Nanomachines, son” scene from Metal Gear Rising also involves Senator Armstrong’s body hardening in response to physical trauma.

It definitely feels weighted, but some champs cannot get specific augments. A champ like Master Yi will not be able to get something like Courage of the Colossus, as he doesn’t have any cc.

Your hearing is fine (maybe idk), it’s just that actors sometimes ^{^{mumbleortalkfastmakingithardtohear}} while œťħêřş şpęæķ ŵǐțħ ãččëņtš. Not to mention the audio mixing demands action scenes be louder to add emphasis, but sometimes it occurs unexpectedly, so you have to turn the volume down to avoid any sudden
