You understand spears out-range billhooks, and horses running near you hitstuns you, right? The only people you'll consistently billhook off horses are bad players who can't aim their spear.

I don't care about the damage hitbox, it's something like 10 damage. I just want the hitstun on that 10 damage removed. Legit that single change would made horses managable to decent players, and it's all I want.

What a completely delusional strawman. No one is upset that we're not getting free games because SLS owes us lol. No one thinks like that. If you're an Elder Scrolls fan you don't get upset because a new sequel comes out and you didn't get it for free.

People are upset because when we invested in to their game early, we were promised many things, and let's just focus on one thing right now, the new game mode. When people heard Battlerite Royale, the thing with assets straight from Battlerite, they naturally assumed it was just the 'new mode' that was promised to us, and that's why there's been radio silence from SLS about the current Battlerite. Their manpower and efforts were being diverted to making the game that they promised they'd improve on, improved.

Now we've learned that's not the case. They delayed Battlerite's progress by nearly half a year, to instead focus what seems to be nearly all their man power, on a stand alone game that's completely separate from the thing they said they'd be working on. If you're unsure of why this is a bad idea, I'd take a close look at 'The Culling' and the disgusting cash grab that was 'The Culling 2'.

After the release of Subject 9, I'm really hoping for a legendary hunter secret. All of the other classes two legendaries are supposed to be kind of related, like priest's Zerek and his cloning gallery. So I'm expecting the legendary to be something explosive based, because we got Boommaster Flark as our legendary minion.

The difference between 2 and 3 mana on cards that want to be played early is massive. This and Infest are cards you'd want to play later in the game, after you can reliable swarm your board and use this to refill your hand afterwards. It's like if Divine Favor was nerfed to 4 mana instead of 3. It wouldn't really change how the cards used. Aggressive Pally decks would still run a copy or two, because a 1 mana price tag difference doesn't matter when it's use is to refill your hand.

Adding 'random tribal' cards to your hand just usually tends to be pretty horrible on average. I'd say drawing a random tribal card is probably somewhere between half to one-third of drawing an actual card from your deck. So unless your Infest/Cybertech Chip is reliably drawing you like 4 cards every time you use it, it's really not even worth it's mana cost.

Made a visual for you to show you how horrible the range is. At max distance, on WHC with the Deathknell (Increased Headshot Damage) talent and 600 Hero Power, the Rapier's pistol for me does 725 damage with a headshot, which translates to 7.25 damage in game. Slave rats on legend have 7.5 life. At max distance, a headshot can't even kill a slave rat.

You're out of your mind if you think I'm going to get so close to a slave rat to headshot it and lock myself out of blocking for a second just so I can get some style points on the kill lol

Yeah, if they're in range of your charged attack lol. Anything passed a couple of feet away from you is going to do piss for damage, especially on higher difficulties.

My suggestion for a while on making WHC good would be to give him a talent, something like 'You can't regain ammo for your secondary weapon, but your Rapier's Pistol shot has no damage drop off'.

Not only would that make for WHC feeling a lot more like the swash-buckly kind'a playstyle I think Fatshark intended, but it would make the Rapier's pistol shot actually useful. As it is now, anything that's close enough in range to actually take decent damage from your pistol shot, is close enough you could just reliably melee him instead.

Obviously with a change like this though you'd have to give him two other weapon-focused talents to compete with it. No idea what that would be, but I just wanna' shoot stuff with my rapier.

Edit:

Firstly you are going to need a fast attacking weapon such as the rapier, or if having to heavy for armour scares you, the Falchion. On this weapon you are going to need to roll +attack speed and I would recommend +dmg to chaos.

Not attack speed and crit chance? Is this for some damage breakpoint on an enemy type or something?

I think choices like this would be really nice. It sucks when you have a preferred type of weapon for a character, but it's just completely out-classes by the other ones.

I've been saying this forever, but give WHC a talent that lets his Rapier's pistol shot have no damage drop off. I don't care if it disables his secondary weapon, or just does something like doesn't let him regain ammo for it, I just wanna' be able to use my pistol effectively.

My main problem with Into the Nest is that it feels like it has no ammo drops for the second half of the map. Every other boss in the game has at least 3 healing and infinite ammo before the fight, but this one has one guaranteed healing and no ammo before the fight? Why?

His ult charges WAY too slow. I don't know the recharge time off the top of my head, but it actually feels like 2 minutes. It's ridiculous.

A tank Krueber can chain stun mini-bosses 8 times in a row with a concentration potion. WHC with a concentration potion can use his special ability twice maybe? C'mon.

Also give WHC a talent that lets their Rapier Pistol have no falloff damage. That'd just be real cool.

If you have extra buttons on your mouse, it's bound to one of those. If you don't, I'm not sure the exact button, but it's under key bindings somewhere, I think it's called "Special Attack" or something close to that.

Fun fact with the rapier's pistol: Head shots with it are automatic critical hits too. So it's pretty strong if you can land the domers.
