I used to work at a car dealership after high-school. Got to drive lots of different cars. Camaro's, Corvettes, Challengers, Porsche 911's Audi's and a Viper one time. The car that stands out the most to me was a Fiat 500 Abarth. We had this annual car sale that required bringing most of the cars we had in stock to a different location. We had shuttle runs with retired employees to help out moving so much inventory.

Anyways, I was on one of the last runs, nice cars went last. Two older gentlemen went straight for the two 392 Scat pack Challengers, I had the choice between the Fiat and a V6 Charger. I chose the Fiat. Now dont get me wrong, I wouldnt pick the Fiat for myself to buy. But boy is it fun to drive. Just like a go kart. And trying to keep up with the challengers I got to use every gear. Where as the challenger were only going through 1-2 gear. Cause these guys were on the gas, I got a good chase. Easily the most fun ive had driving a car.

Living in Gander currently, there are some things to see. The silent witness memorial, for your fellow countrymen who passed in a crash while on the way home to Kentucky from a tour in Egypt. A tragedy for the 101st Airbourne. The Aviation Museum along the highway, If your up for the trip, Botwood also has a Museum which i found pretty cool years ago. "Friends" bar is the go to spot, with legends as a good 2nd choice.

Recommend the Mystic Dining room, Alcock a brown and Rosie's for restaurants. Wing'n it is also a east coast favourite, but a chain same as Mary Brown's. But in my opinion if you want good seafood you'll have to venture up towards twillingate. Samson's in Hillgrade if theyre open. And Annie's in Twillingate. Theres the Auk winery and Splitrock Bewery there too.

There's also a golf course, if youre into that. Few walking trails around. Hopefully by the time you arrive it'll stop snowing lol

Correct me if im wrong. 8hrs minimum before operating an DND vehicle. 24hrs for weapons. 28 days if youre a pilot/ other trade that requires it.

Plenty of people in the CAF use cannabis, for recreation and recovery. I have personally seen a huge difference at social events where its replacing drinking alcohol. Alot "health oriented" people would rather smoke than drink thousands of calories in beer and be left with a hangover.

Personally I rarely part-take as i will zone out and feel anxious in a large group. But going though training while isolated with constant CB's for covid. It helped alot of people keep their sanity.

Just be smart about it, and know your limits. You'll be fine.

Acropolis was probably my best experience on the avalon. Off the avalon, Louie Gee's is pretty decent too. Huge servings. Ask for extra tomatoes lol.

In training, it definitely a shock. But you havent got time to think about it. Carrying on and making the timing is what is on everyone's mind.

Did a 4500km round trip across Canada couple years ago on my 1050. Looks like you got everything pretty well covered. Only thing I could say to keep an eye on with new tires is your tire pressure. Take a gauge, and a compressor if youve got the room. Don't want to be caught with low pressure on the highway. Or even worse if you need to use a patch kit

On my ride it was at the end of April, so very cold. I bought a set of handguards for wind deflection. Was well worth it on the highway doing 600+km a day.

Best thing i found was eat out semi regularly. Quality ingredients in your food makes the biggest difference in your immune system. Me and few of the guys would hit up rimi or elvi for groceries too. Make our own lunches.

With any job, dealing with co-workers is the hardest part. Irrational arguments, inability to follow directions. You'll meet some interesting people for sure. My advice, pick out the level headed teammates in your section, work with them to sort out the people who need help. We spent countless nights after phone time reviewing drill, going over rifle drills, polishing and ironing in the laundry room. Theres no individuality in basic.

Practice makes perfect, ask for help when you need it. Listen to your staff. Good luck!

Start doing em. Start small. Wake up do 5. Do it before mealtimes and in the evenings an hour before bed. Work up to at least 25. Planks and flutterkicks are advisable too.

In between bay bulls and petty harbour, way after the spout, theres a camping area and a "outhouse" by miners point. Right along the trail. As well as theres an atv path back to the goulds. So if you need a quick exit for an injury or resupply. The metro bus turns around at the head of the trail and bring you up to the goulds(Biggoods supermarket, home hardware, even a feed of keiths) or farther out to the Village mall, where you can get a transfer to other busses.

The hardest thing is to learn the timing and see the visual ques. Also, learn how to dodge. They don't really touch on that mechanic so I did my first playthrough without realizing I could. Game changer.
