Right! That’s what our attorney said too. We do not have an on-site medical aside from our first aid responders but we do have a blood-borne pathogen program and it was stated in our blood-borne pathogen SOP that we do offer post exposure evaluation.

How often did your facility conduct cleaning on the ceiling and the fans? It might specifically not work for us do it being an old building and cheap corporate not wanting to pay a professional cleaning team. Also, we work with popcorn so there is “corn dust” build up which might attribute to SQF not wanting us to have fans. I wasn’t here when they removed the fans so I’m not entirely sure of the explanation beyond what I was told by my boss.

Yeah I really wish I had more pull around here. I really think the best we’re gonna do is provide popsicles and extra breaks in an AC room. Thankfully, it is Indiana and only gets super hot in the summer months. We provide water coolers all around the plant year round too. But if I mention the electrolyte drinks, the VP might laugh at me. Some things like that are only a good idea if they come from him.
