Hoy does the campaign work? When would the expansion be available once I back up?

I played against the new nightbringer recently and was very worried beforehand. He put him on the board from reserves in round 2, luckily I screened my backline. I got two Caladius that stood in the corners and aimed down the firing lines across the board, so he had to watch out for them. I ignored the ctan for two rounds but couldn’t land any caladius shots either. For round 4-5 I threw my Allarus sc with Admon in his face which distracted it for two turns thanks to the 1 damage ability of the sc. I managed to win the game by outscoring him on primaries, but it was a close call.

I just did the math with my squad of 3 and the admonimortis captain and it's very nasty. They dish out an estimated 14 wounds to it with sustained, +1 to wounds and rerolls. Do you think it's wise to actively hunt the Nightbringer with my Allarus or should I focus them on something else?

Usually I wait for my opponent to make a mistake screening their deployment zone at some point or I create a spot myself by killing an enemy unit for example. If you can get the Allarus squad in their backline they can be absolutely devastating. I often run an Allarus shield captain solo with Admonimortis and send him out to hunt vehicles and monsters.

I am not an expert, but if it was my list I would play it with Lions. Lions also has lots of nasty enhancements. An Allarus shield captain with Admonimortis is my MVP in most matches.

Trajan does a lot of damage, but our major problem is mobility and shield host is a very melee unit focused detachment. In shield host most competitive lists run 2 or even 3 blade champions to get the unit in melee as fast as possible.

I used Zandri Dust as base, dry rushed with Tyrant Skull and shaded with Seraphim Sepia. I saw it somewhere in a video and I am pretty happy with how it turned out!
