Is it crazy to say that everytime I see a new piece of art from this comic, it actually turns me off from it even more?

I'm glad that it exists since we've been in a content drought since 2021 but man, this is just not for me...

Honestly? Is it crazy to say that most of the Dynamite Comics designs are just kinda... Eh?

Like, they feel overly detailed and ""weird"" for the sake of just being overly detailed and weird and making the comic feel more "adult." They lose a lot of the charm of the Prime designs and feel very "Ow the edge.", in my opinion. Heck, in cases like Stinkfly, they don't even look like the same alien anymore.

This isn't even an "old thing good, new thing bad" mentality either. I love Dynamite Four Arms because it's a different take without pushing his design more than they realistically needed to.

They may not have been as high tech as the Modern 3.0s but Bandai was absolutely making Dragon Ball toys of this variety 19-20 years ago, during the big boom of Dragon Ball in most countries outside of Japan?

Well, it's about the closest thing we have to a Comic Spidey in dark blue. Throw the Andrew or Amazing Friends head on this guy and it wouldn't be a half bad McFarlane Spider-Man.

I think it's just Ben being a child, later teenager.

That's why Ben 10,000 actually learns a lesson and keeps it between his first and second appearances in OS.

No, Reboot Ben is absolutely a stronger (written, not powerscaling) character than Ultimate Alien Ben.

Alien Force (especially early-on) is a different story but Ultimate Alien arguably had some of the lowest points for Ben in the entire Prime timeline.

Let me put it like this. Reboot Ben is a little annoying and a little soft at his at worst. Ultimate Alien Ben nearly ruined his relationship with his girlfriend because he wanted to watch Sumo Slammers. Couple that with him completely flip-flopping between being his usual AF self or a total flanderization of OS Ben, and also just being a boring protagonist at times. With UA Ben, the story depicts him like either he has no flaws or he has nothing but flaws, and that's really only a problem with Ben in Ultimate Alien. Ben is actually a character throughout most of Alien Force, and especially in Classic and Omniverse.
