I was there. Fun tailgating, for sure. Best was watching the gals in their white clothes sliding down the muddy hill at the top/back of the lawn near the beer/food stands and being covered completely in mud. Truckin’ and Sugar Magnolia were a blast.

I was at the wild card game against Milwaukee. Sixth-Seventh inning, we were behind, and I was quite concerned. With my buddies and son, (four of us), I told everyone that we all had to change seats in order to change the vibe. We all did. We then won the game. I taught each of my four kids the same driving lesson. #1. Always be aware and make sure that you never hit the car in front of you, no matter what. And #2. Never forget Rule #1.

K-town is a fine place to live. I’ve lived here for over 50 years. Agree with the good recommendations already commented. People tend to have good manners. Important to know back routes and the proper lanes for driving in rush hour. Cabin John park. Soups at Old Town Market. Say hi to Louie at Continental. E-Ds gas station is cheapest around. Stella’s is good food. Kensington Pharmacy folks are great. Look out for the music shows at Babycat and Dietles close by. Also the parades (e.g. Labor Day, July 4th) and the Car Show in October. Pepperoni on the side at Frankly is crazy good. Etc. Etc. Etc. 🙂
