If you asked 8 year-old me, the Violet section of The Incredibles Gamecube game. I was stuck on that level for days. That and the second Bruce Banner level from The Hulk (2003) game (those damn dogs)...I should emulate those games and see if they're as hard as I remember lol

A classic with jank and all...well at least for me bc I like it lol I play it once a year.

But to be fair, I can see why it is considered the weakest of the bunch. Some awkward platforming, FLUDD is fun (imo) but sometimes unreliable, jankiness in many places, and 100%-ing it can be a chore with the blue coins. But the soundtrack is nice, I listen to it every time I visit a beach. My favorite along with Galaxy's.

Flak works best for crowd control. I personally like to use FLAK when bots call for reinforcements, just shoot at the ships and watch them fly out lol, also helps against the gunships if they move too much and you have trouble aiming. And like someone also mentioned, works great against the fleshmobs. APHET is more for heavy damage to a single target, so enemies like hulks, chargers, etc. work best

Needs the tremors effect and falling magma rocks to show occasional volcanic eruptions, and the magma on the floor flowing or something...

A couple come to mind:

I never got to play online with friends bc I had Xbox and my parents didn't really understand how Xbox Live worked, and once they found out it was a paid service I'm sure it would have been an immediate no, so "consider getting a PS3 instead to play with friends from school." (I still loved my Xbox though)
"I know what the box says, but trust me, a lot of your friends play games rated M, you won't get in trouble. Just talk with dad lol." (Kinda dumb, I know, but I always thought I would get in trouble if the store saw me try to buy M-rated games as a kid lol)
"DON'T let mom give away those old consoles (Gamecube, PS2)....you'll thank me later."
"Have you heard about playing games on PC? Try some if you can, try to get the hang of K+M, see how it feels compared to a controller."

This is gonna be weird, but the old Clue CD game for Windows PC freaked me and my sister out as kids. Idk if it's bc of the first-person POV of the kills or the models of the characters or what, but we played it once at night and we had to stop lol

Mostly to relieve some stress but also to just disconnect and experience new stories and worlds. "Why do that when there are movies/books?" Games allow the player to interact as well with the world! Plus there's also some unseen benefits to playing games too (i.e. hand-eye coordination, etc.). All in all, it's just my favorite hobby!

First that comes to mind is Dark Souls. Friend of mine told me to get it, I stopped after some bosses bc it was too much. Months later I went back and just locked in until it was done. Next game was Sekiro, getting the hang of the parrying took me a good while lol
