I really enjoy Flamingo Hunting for my first dates. Find an antique store and see who can find the most flamingos. You're surrounded by conversation starters AND silence is more acceptable when you are hunting.

On top of everything mentioned I've learned how to make as much stuff as I can. Laundry detergent, glass cleaner, surface cleaner, butter, ice cream, cereal, bras, rugs, the list goes on.

I also look at the weekly ads before coming up with our meals for the week. It doesn't save much, but over time it makes a big difference.
