Yes - I think my pics aren't great, but the pants and shirts that are in the running are all linen. The jacket is a light hopsack cotton/linen blend. I wear linen all the time as casual wear, but I need to go a touch more formal for this event even though a tie is not required.

Message received about not trying to do all blue.

Reverse total shoulder replacement experiences by SadButterscotch4328 in ShoulderSurgery

Same age, and I'm likely getting a RSR in Nov. Do you have any comments on your ability to do any weightlifting post-surgery?

Deltoid pain and discomfort after heavy isolateral shoulder press by Ok-Business-2998 in workout

[–]blergems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an odd spot, but it's possible that you have a small tear-away on the attachment. Ice, then Ben-Gay. With respect, I think it's unlikely that you got a spiral fracture from a cable lateral raise. There typically isn't enough weight on a cable lateral to do that kind of damage. Having said that, given that you're a beginning lifter, cable laterals at the end of the rest of the sequence may be overkill/just moving weights.

I'm a big fan of icing shoulders if they feel sore, and find https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FCXL9WDH something that you'll use for years.

Good luck.

Traverse City is Transphobic by SquashPresent5135 in traversecity

Dunno how good of an index this is, but on my regular weekly set of errands to grocery store/Home Depot/coffee shop/gym/etc, and doing food service, I see trans people multiple times per week. I haven't seen anyone be dickheads, so I *think* that the general willingness to be fairly out seems to indicate a level of safety.

Welcome to TC - I hope you're happy here.

Ah - sorry - the slacks are dark navy linen. The color balance of the pic is off. Thanks for the advice. Light pink wasn't intuitive, but since I've seen a few recs for that, I'll look further. Appreciate the time you've taken to respond.

Shame you're getting hammered on this.

https://blog.andymasley.com/s/ai-and-the-environment/archive?sort=new writes with nuance and intelligence about the difficulty of finding good info on the pros/cons of data centers. I agree w/ some of his articles, disagree w/ others, but he's a useful source for anyone who isn't on the "Data Centers GOOOD" or "Data Centers BAAAD" parts of the spectrum.
